REVAMPED ANCIENT JOURNAL:
- Right-clicking an animal with your Ancient Journal will now add an entry of critical basic information on that animal! This includes a “chibi” illustration, name, formation it’s found in, drops, diet, breeding item, max health, max hunger, possible temperaments, sleep cycle, and behavior.
- The long-form, ‘historical entries’ and entries on formations are still collected using Journal Pages.

MUSIC: 5 tracks added by Sonny King Composer.
RUINED SETTLEMENTS:
- Abandoned, village-like structures will spawn in the Cretaceous period, with unique architecture for all three formations. These include houses, industry, small decorations, and village centers. In each center sleeps the boss of the Cretaceous: the Corrupted Theropod. This unknown animal ate the key to the cage of an ancient being, corrupting it into a multi-faced bony Henostone-coated abomination. Projectiles are recommended.
FEATURE CHANGES:
- Added a Temperament System: individual animals randomly spawn with unique personalities. Each species spawns with predetermined ratios of personalities. The eight temperaments are:
-
- Skittish - Actively avoids the player
-
- Passive - Does not attack back
-
- Protective - Attacks if there is a baby nearby
-
- Territorial - Attacks if the player gets too close
-
- Opportunist - Attacks the player if they have low health
-
- Aggressive - Attacks no matter what
- Added a Trust System: if the player is within 8 blocks of a hatching animal, it will trust the player. For trusted players, animals with hostile temperaments will not attack, and skittish animals won’t run away. Certain species also perform certain actions for trusted players. Trust can be lost when the player attacks the animal, or if it gets too hungry.
- Animals can be fed by hand by the player
- 9 Time Gems now craft into the Block of Time Shards instead of Time Gems.
- False Henos are no longer spawned with Emerald blocks; instead, they are spawned with the Block of Time Shards
