Pressurized Barrels

In the Pressurized Barrels mod, you can craft two new types of barrels. The Pressurized Barrel is a solid upgrade to the normal barrel, using planks, a slab, an iron ingot, cobblestone, and redstone dust. It can store 54 stacks, as many as a Large Chest, but in one block. The Breeze Pressurized Barrel is a significant upgrade using planks, an iron ingot, a copper ingot, cobblestone, and a breeze rod. It can hold 162 stacks, working as 3 large chests in one block.

The Pressurized Barrels mod is a balanced alternative to other storage mods because we have no intent for maniacal barrels being on by default because something with 1000 slots is too much.
