This project is in a very early stage, expect bugs and incomplete features!

Primal Frontier is a project developed by a very small team, meaning updates will have some time pass between them. While the mod isn't in it's most playable state as of now, we still appreciate you checking it out while we prepare it for the future.

A primal compendium will be granted at first joining a world for now (will be crafted later).  This will display information about dinosaurs, taming and recipes for saddles and upgrades (not in the mod yet).

ADDITIONS:

  • Added maip onslaughts (and tons of stuff with it)
  • Added tar
  • Added tar pits
  • Added pitch torch (related to the onslaughts)
  • Added sinister omen (related to the onslaughts)
  • Added glowing white eyes for "onslaught maips"
  • Added a swimming animation for the maip
  • Added TONS of utility and misc animations for the maip (many related to the onslaughts)
  • Added SOUNDS (the maip can now roar)

REMOVALS:

  • Removed ember staff (temporarily scrapped concept)

BUG FIXES/CHANGES:

  • Increased maip spawn weight by 25%
  • Fixed Primal Compendium sometimes being given more than once per player
  • Fixed Maip sleeping/sitting while swimming
