## About A mod that lets players toggle PvP individually, giving them the freedom to opt in or out of combat, while offering plenty of other features. ### ⚠️ Disclaimer > This mod **ignores the** `pvp` **setting in** `server.properties`. Please try to stick to the **newest versions** of the mod for the best experience, as older versions may have bugs or lack features. Make sure to read the dependencies section as well. ## Features * **Command based**: Relatively straightforward to use and thoroughly explained below in the commands section. * **Per-player PvP control**: Each player can choose whether to disable or enable PvP for themselves. * **Persistent PvP preferences**: Each player’s PvP preference is persistent even on server restart (things like combat flags, cooldowns, and the global PvP state, are not). * **Combat flag system**: PvP toggling is temporarily disabled upon engaging in combat relating to a player. Combat flags do not persist after death. Players who are flagged will be immediately killed upon attempting to log off if they have an active combat flag. This is not deterministic of how the player got disconnected to avoid potential workarounds. * **Global PvP override**: Force PvP on or off for all players server-wide, ignoring personal preferences. * **Pet protect**: Protects all tameables from harm’s way if an attacker’s PvP is off. Attackers are flagged upon attacking a tame (the owner’s PvP state is not factored in). This respects the global PvP override. Feel free to turn this off if you'd rather use a dedicated mod to handle this. * **Forced PvP in other dimensions**: Forced PvP in any dimension that isn't the Overworld. You should enable this if you want to add risk to traveling in other dimensions. This also respects the global PvP override. * **Permissions support**: This mod supports LuckPerms allowing you to control accessibility to features. * **Configurable**: As it says, this mod is decently configurable; for more info on what is configurable, go down below to the section where it is explained in great detail. ## Dependencies Make sure the following dependencies are installed by placing them into your server’s `mods/` folder: * [Fabric API](https://modrinth.com/mod/fabric-api) * [LuckPerms](https://modrinth.com/plugin/luckperms) *(This is entirely optional if you don't care about customizing permissions.)* ## Commands

Edit the values to your preference and restart the server or use `/pvp reload` to apply the changes you've made. Once again, as was said in the dependencies section, you can completely ignore these permission nodes if you do not care for customizing them via another mod like LuckPerms. All nodes labeled as "**player**" are available to everyone by default, while ones labeled as "**op**" are available to anyone with an operator permission level of **2** or higher.
