Tired of your server list being full of "Minecraft Server"?

UtilsMod is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that automatically generates a clean server name from the IP address when you leave the name as default.

How it works:

You open Multiplayer → Add Server Leave the Server Name as "Minecraft Server" (the default) — don't touch it Type your server address (e.g. play.totemmc.net) and hit Done The mod automatically names the server "totemmc" for you! Smart name extraction:

hypixel.net → hypixel play.totemmc.net → totemmc mc.hypixel.net → hypixel totemmc.net:25565 → totemmc (ports are stripped) The mod extracts the most meaningful part of the address — skipping generic prefixes like play, mc, hub and domain suffixes like .net, .com.
