Welcome to Radiach, a radiation survival mod that brings a new layer of challenge to Minecraft. Step into a world where the sun is your greatest enemy, and the only thing standing between you and a slow, agonizing death is a suit that needs constant attention and upgrades.

The world of Minecraft has become a harsh wasteland. Radiation isn't just a background feature - it's a constant threat you must manage. During the day, the sun's rays pierce through the sky, exposing you to dangerous levels of radiation. The more exposed you are, the faster radiation accumulates in your body.
Take shelter underground or build structures with proper absorption materials to stay safe. The environment matters! Different blocks absorb radiation at different rates. Hide under leaves (3% absorption) during the day, or seek refuge behind dense blocks like iron (100%) or obsidian (90%) for maximum protection.
The Suit - Your Only Defense
Equip the radiation suit to survive the wasteland, but remember - no suit is perfect. The suit has several key stats you must monitor:
Durability - Your suit takes damage over time and from physical impacts. Keep it repaired!
Seal Integrity - Think of this as your suit's health percentage. When it drops below your seal threshold, radiation starts leaking in. Upgrade to lower this threshold!
Heat Management - Overheating damages your suit and reduces durability faster. Use cooling packs and coolant cartridges to manage your temperature.
Wear and Tear - Every repair adds wear to your suit. Once it reaches maximum wear, you can't repair or upgrade it until you use a wear repair kit. Use your repairs wisely!

Radiach comes with two radiation systems that work together or independently:
Base Radiation System - Dynamic solar radiation that changes throughout the day. The sun is your enemy! Get maximum exposure at noon, and seek shelter at night. Biome temperature and altitude also affect radiation levels.
Zoned Radiation System - Create designated radiation zones anywhere in your world using the Zone Radiation Manager. Perfect for map makers who want to create dangerous areas with specific radiation levels.
Map makers can configure everything through config files - from radiation strengths to dimension multipliers. The Nether and End have their own radiation levels by default!

Visit the Suit Upgrade Table to improve your suit. Upgrade durability, lower the seal threshold, and increase heat capacity. Each upgrade path has 64 levels with unique upgrade items for each tier!
Durability Upgrades - Increase your suit's total durability
Seal Upgrades - Lower the seal threshold percentage, making your suit more resistant to radiation leaks
Heat Upgrades - Increase your suit's maximum heat capacity before overheating
The upgrade system requires experience points that scale with each level, rewarding players who invest time and resources into their gear.

Express yourself even in the wasteland! All suits are dyeable - just use a cauldron with water and any dye to change your suit's color. Stand out from other survivors with your own unique style!
Essential Tools and Remedies
Repair Tools - Electrical tape, sewing kits, and repair kits. Each has different repair percentages and wear costs. Use them strategically!
Cooling Tools - Cooling packs and coolant cartridges help manage suit temperature during intense radiation exposure.
Radiation Remedies - Indralin, cystamine, and riboxin reduce radiation accumulation. Each has different durations, cooldowns, and instant cure percentages. Manage your inventory carefully!
