Unlocked Redstone Batteries Powered at Different Levels
The first Redstone Battery is powered with a signal strengthof 15. The second one is not powered at all. The third one is powered with a signal strength of 8, due to the power decaying along the redstone line.

Locked Redstone Batteries Keeping Their Signal Strength
The first battery is locked at a signal strength of 15, thus fully powering the redstone dust. The second battery is locked at a signal strength of 0, thus not recieving any power. The third battery is locked at signal strength 8, giving out less power.

Directional Redstone Batteries Powering in a Single Direction
Both Directional Redstone Batteries are facing the camera, the second one being surrounded by redstone lamps. As you can see, only the lamp corresponding to the circular face is being powered.
