Redstone Tweaks

Redstone Tweaks is a Fabric mod that aims to give players full control over their redstone experience. You can tweak everything from basic properties such as delay, tick priority and power output, to more complex behaviors like quasi-connectivity and update order, or even completely new features like movable moving blocks, half slab merging and step-by-step world ticking.

Features

By default all settings are disabled and the game acts exactly as vanilla. Properties of redstone behavior can be individually configured in the Redstone Tweaks menu, which can be reached from the game menu or by pressing R on your keyboard.

Tweaks

Here's a highlight of some of the best features Redstone Tweaks has to offer!

  • delay and tickPriority: change the delays and tick priorities for every (and I mean every) block that updates using scheduled ticks.
  • movableBlockEntities: allow pistons to move blocks with block entities.
  • movableMovingBlocks: allow pistons to move already moving blocks.
  • mergeSlabs: allow pistons to merge half slabs or pull apart double slabs.
  • blockUpdateOrder: change the order in which blocks emit block updates.
  • maxPower: change the maximum power output for analogue components like redstone wire, comparators or weighted pressure plates.
  • worldTickOptions and showNeighborUpdates: separate and slow down the world tick phases and neighbor updates so you can watch your redstone contraptions operate in a level of detail you've never seen before!
  • speedRisingEdge and speedFallingEdge for pistons: change the speed at which pistons move.
  • pushLimit for pistons: change the number of blocks pistons can move. quasiConnectivity: enable quasi-connectivity in different directions or disable it altogether.
  • canMoveSelf for pistons: if a piston is unable to push the blocks in front of it, it will attempt to push itself backwards instead.
