Changes
Minecraft Java 26.3 Fabric port of the published RIAutomobility .6 baseline.
- Preserves 13 frames, 2 wheel sets, 17 languages, persistent 54-slot lorry cargo, server-authoritative seat switching and datapack-defined frame behavior.
- Updates client input to Minecraft 26.3's SDL keyboard API.
- Uses G as the fresh default for switching seats, avoiding Momentum's R cruise resume binding. Existing saved bindings and custom remaps are not overwritten; existing players can choose G manually in Minecraft Controls.
- Updates the ExamplePack to 26.3 data format 121.0 and resource format 97.1.
Requires the matching Automobility .36+26.3 release, Fabric API 0.161.0+26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5+ and Java 25. Install on client and server. Momentum remains optional.
27 unit tests and combined-server/datapack checks passed, followed by the requested manual seat-switch and cargo checks. Two-real-player, controller and exhaustive hopper/destruction validation remain incomplete.
Original artwork is unchanged. MIT covers source code; original artwork retains its separate project-specific permission and is not licensed for extraction or reuse elsewhere. See the bundled ASSET_LICENSE.md and NOTICE.md.
Compatibility update (2026-09-26): The unchanged RIA .6 binary is verified with Automobility .36 for Minecraft 26.3. Only the required core dependency and this compatibility text were updated; existing worlds, artwork and saved controls are unchanged.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
