The previous version of my mod (which is no longer available, as I removed it) was heavily bugged and contained many issues. This was mainly because I was still learning how to create Minecraft mods at the time. Because of that, I decided to start the project from scratch.
Last version (Alpha 1.0.0) introduces many enjoyable new features:
1. Stones
-
Small decorative pebbles that appear on the ground. They can be collected and thrown, similarly to snowballs.
-
When mining blocks such as stone, deepslate, or even end stone, instead of dropping the full block, you will receive 1 to 3 pebbles (this works with the Fortune enchantment).
-
The mod adds 12 new types of pebbles.

2. New decorative blocks
-
A large number of new decorative blocks have been added, including calcite, andesite, and diorite bricks, new tiles, carved tiles, and more.
-
In the future, even more decorative blocks will be added, such as ones made from netherrack or end stone.
-
New ores have also been introduced, for example calcite diamond ore and redstone deposits in andesite.
-
A new decorative stone called Azurite has been added. It can be found deep underground in caves and appears as a unique blue block.

3. Farming and crops
This is the most developed feature of the mod.
-
New crops have been added: Pale Wheat (from the Pale Garden), tomatoes, strawberries, rice, and onions.
-
Along with them comes a wide variety of new food items, including:
-
tomato stew
-
strawberry milk soup
-
sweet strawberry sauce
-
strawberry cookies
-
pale bread and pale cookies
-
rice and rice stew
-
tomato rice stew
-
sweet rice stew
-
cooked onion and onion stew
-
bamboo stew
-
as well as a reworked mushroom stew

4. Decorative statues
Players can now obtain patterns in the world, craft a chisel, and create statues.
-
Many more statues will be added in future updates.
-
Statues can be crafted from gold, iron, and diamond.

5. New hides and backpacks
New hides have been added: pig hide and hoglin hide.
- Hides can be smelted into hardened leather, which can be used to craft new backpacks.

6. Lootboxes
The mod also includes lootboxes:
-
Common Lootbox
-
Uncommon Lootbox
-
Rare Lootbox
-
Epic Lootbox
-
Legendary Lootbox
-
Currently, only Common and Uncommon Lootboxes can be obtained in survival mode. More structures and challenges will be added in the future to make higher-tier lootboxes obtainable.
-
When you mine a lootbox, you receive random items — the higher the lootbox tier, the better the rewards.
-
More lootboxes are planned for future versions.

Finally, I would like to note that the mod is still in alpha, so bugs are expected. I highly encourage you to join my Discord server, where you can help with development by reporting bugs or suggesting new features for Rifted Lands.
