Inscriptions you can letter across the land yourself, the way territory names are written.
- New: lettered inscriptions. An inscription can now be written in large spaced capitals instead of on a plate, the same hand as a territory name, but with no zone attached. Switch Style in the inscription's dialog between plain and curved; a new inscription starts in whichever style you used last.
- Bend it by three points. Lettered inscriptions and territory names get a Bend box in their dialog: the name drawn along its curve, with a handle at the start, the middle and the end. Drag any of them up or down; right-click puts the default arch back. A territory you never bend keeps arching itself to fit its land, as before.
- Turn, size and when it shows. Together with the turn that was already there, inscriptions and territory names now have a size, and a range of zooms they show at: Shown from and Shown up to read the same as the scale bookmark (8b, 1c, 4c…), and either end can be left open. Lettering grows and shrinks with the map by default, like the land it names; Grows with map pins it to one size on screen instead. Plates keep one size, as they always have.
- Inscriptions are now picked by their writing: hovering or clicking anywhere on the letters finds them, however far they are turned or bent.
Inscriptions and territories already on your map look exactly as they did: plates keep their size, inscriptions still fade out past 4c, and territory names keep their automatic arch.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
