Meerkats

Meerkats are pacifist desert dwellers that enjoy hanging around Excavation Sites. Earn their loyalty by giving them Raw Cod

Dust

Dust is a new decoration block for Runes and Dunes 1.2, and can be found in the new structures for the mod

Mahogany

Mahogany is a brand new wood type players can find from Excavation Sites, or from the swamps

Papyrus and Wiltflowers

Papyrus is a new crop that can be dug up by the Sniffer and can be used to make paper, while the Wiltflower can be found in hotter climates

Tablets

Sandy and Shattered Templates are the brand new base for Runes and Dunes, as they provide a way for players to transfer the Runes from the new blocks to their Relics

Runes

Rune Blocks can be found in new structures coming to Runes and Dunes, and provide the player with a gemstone upon breaking. These gems can be used to create Rune Tablets for each specific gem

Excavation Site

Excavation Sites contain the uncovered remains of a civilization long gone, in which players can uncover Sandy Tablets

The Sifter

The Sifter is a new Utility block that allows players to sift away the impurities from items and blocks. The new texture was made by @Milk_Furr on Twitter

The Monolith

The Monolith is a new structure found in deserts, which contains the new Scorchstone Rune Block and the Legless

The Legless is a brand new Husk Variant that will chase players down in tight spaces, trapping their targets in a corner before taking them down

Historian

The Historian is a brand new Villager Job Type that can be obtained by giving the Sifter to a Villager. They can also be found at Excavation Sites around the deserts
