Safe Beacon
This Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 mod introduces the "Safe Beacon" feature. Players can activate the warding effect by constructing a beacon using Obsidian as the base blocks. The Safe Beacon discards vanilla status effects and replaces them with powerful area control capabilities targeting both hostile and friendly mobs. Key Features
Level 1 (3x3 Base): Clears projectiles within the ward (e.g., arrows, Ghast fireballs).
Level 2 (5x5 Base): Clears negative status effects within the ward every second.
Level 3 (7x7 Base): Provides rapid health regeneration for players within the ward.
Level 4 (9x9 Base):
Prevents Mob Spawning: No hostile mobs (Enemies) can spawn within the ward's radius.
Repels Monsters: If a monster enters the ward from the outside, it will automatically be afflicted with a fear AI, forcing it to turn around and flee the area.
Passive Mob Penning: Friendly or passive mobs (such as villagers, animals, and modded pets) inside the ward are restricted to its boundaries and cannot wander off.
Range / Radius
Level 1: 20 blocks
Level 2: 30 blocks
Level 3: 40 blocks
Level 4: 50 blocks
Beyond Level 4: For every additional base layer added (up to a maximum of 12 layers), the ward's range increases exponentially by a factor of two, reaching a maximum radius of 12,800 blocks!
