🌙 Item Acquisition Guide

Item	Crafting / Gathering Method
Nebula Prism	Right-click an active beacon that has a resonating amethyst underneath the beacon block. Then, right-click it with an amethyst shard.
Dragon Scales	Right-click a Dragon Head into a water-filled cauldron to peel its scales.
Yarn Skein	Use shears on tamed cats to safely harvest fur without hurting them. (Takes 5 real-life minutes to regenerate)

A high-stakes, dark magic transformation mechanic that turns fatal mistakes into supernatural power. By risking your humanity in the depths of the void, you can break your mortal limits to become a corrupted entity—bound to the shadows, feared in combat, and cursed by the light.

🔮 The Path to Corruption

Becoming corrupted is a grueling, multi-step ritual that demands mastery over survival, combat, and spatial mechanics.

Step 1: The Trial of Blindness (Acquiring the Core)

The transformation cannot happen without its catalyst: the Fractured Core. To forge it, you must venture into the absolute darkest depths:

Locate an Ancient City within the Deep Dark.
Awaken the Warden and battle it until its massive health pool drops down to its absolute final breath (1 HP).
While your vision pulses violently under the active Darkness status effect, pull out a regular Ender Pearl and land the final, lethal melee blow.
The Warden's soul will implode, shattering your pearl and materializing the legendary Fractured Core at your feet.

Step 2: The Abyssal Plunge (The Sacrifice)

With the core secured, you must travel to the edge of reality to make a dark trade with the universe:

Travel to The End dimension (or break beneath the bedrock layer of the world).
Place the Fractured Core directly into your Main Hand.
Take a leap of faith into the endless, lethal Void of space.
As you plummet past Y = -80, the core will violently rupture, completely absorbing the crushing void pressure to anchor your soul while instantly vaporizing any backup cores from your inventory bags.

Step 3: The Dark Binding (The Resurrection)

The final binding process is automated by abyssal magic as your soul forcefully snaps back to reality:

You instantly wake up alive at your Home Bed or world spawn coordinates with your entire inventory perfectly preserved.
If you were wearing a valuable armor helmet when you fell, it is automatically ejected safely onto the floor at your feet so it is never lost.
A massive cloud of dense dark smoke and crackling purple dragon breath particles explodes around your landing position.
A legendary challenge advancement titled "Embrace the Abyss" unlocks globally, instantly granting you 500 Experience Points and a random piece of End City high-tier treasure directly into your bags.
The Corrupted Horns violently slap onto your skull, locking your head armor slot permanently and finalizing your transformation!
