Overview
“Beware the hour when dream and shadow entwine. The Sleep Demon is said to seek those who slumber unguarded, wrenching them violently from safety and into shadow…”
On rare occasions, attempting to sleep may instead trigger a harrowing experience at the hands of a dark force - seeking to unexpectedly disorient, and place the player in harm's way.
Features:
- When a player lies down to sleep, there is a configurable chance (default 20%) that the Sleep Demon will interrupt your slumber.
- Darkness envelops the player when teleported.
- The player is teleported to a random, distant location (within a configurable range).
- The player’s health is reduced to one heart.
- A randomly selected, unsettling red message appears at the center of the screen, hinting at the demon’s presence.
Configuration file lets you adjust:
- Sleep Demon trigger chance
- Minimum and maximum teleport distance
- Duration of the darkness effect (in ticks)
- Whether sounds should play
- Whether debug logging is enabled for troubleshooting.
