Changelog β Sign Builder v1.4.1
β¨ What's New
- 60 Procedural LCD Visual Animations: Expanded the standalone animation library from 24 to 60 unique animations:
- Storefronts & City Life: Fast Food Billboard, Pizza Parlor, Coffee Shop, Ice Cream, Jewelry Showcase, Cinema Box Office, Vet Clinic, Currency Exchange, Gas Station, Smart Parking, Flight Board, and Subway Map.
- Sports & Arenas: Soccer Match, Basketball Match, Formula 1, Boxing Gym, Gym & Fitness, 8-Ball Pool Hall, and Bowling Strike.
- Broadcast & Stage: Breaking News, Concert Stage / Vocal Contest, Security CCTV, and TV Static / SMPTE bars.
- 5-Page Thematic Organization: Reorganized the entire visual animation catalog into 5 logical, 12-item pages (Storefronts, Sports, Arcade Games, Cyber/Gauges, Science/Nature) with uniform emoji icon buttons.
- Global Translations: Complete localization across all 13 supported languages.
β‘ Performance & Optimizations
- LCD Text & Widget Caching: Replaced heavy per-frame string replacements, regex parsing, and world entity queries with a tick-based cache.
- Zero-Allocation Render Loops: Converted dynamic arrays in animations to reusable static scratch buffers to eliminate GC micro-stutters.
- Restored Frustum Culling: Shrunk the letter block render bounding box from 256.0 to 6.0, allowing Minecraft to cull off-screen letter entities instantly.
- Chunk Rebuild Prevention: Removed redundant chunk re-mesh triggers on rainbow signs, keeping client framerates smooth.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
