Simple Spikes is a Minecraft mod introducing a variety of new spike blocks, each causing unique types of damage or effects upon contact. Enhance your base defenses, mob farms, or simply add a strategic new element to your survival world.

The mod utilizes Balm for seamless multi-loader support across Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge.

  Includes wooden spikes (oak, dark oak, birch, jungle, acacia, spruce, warped, crimson, cherry, mangrove, pale oak), stone spikes, cobblestone spikes, slime spikes, copper spikes, iron spikes, gold spikes, diamond spikes, and netherite spikes.

  Different spike variants have unique properties:

  • Wooden Spikes: Moderate damage, effective for passive defense.
  • Stone and Cobblestone Spikes: Higher durability and damage compared to wood.
  • Metal Spikes (Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite): Higher damage output, durability, and special properties (e.g., ignoring armor).
  • Slime Spikes: Special knockback properties, bouncing entities upon contact.
