This is a minecraft 1.20.1 fabric mod that adds valkyrien skies functionality in a survival-friendly way
Important:
- This mod requires vs 2.5, which is not available on mod sites

- Ship splitting will be disabled, as it isn't supported
- 2.4 will be supported soon
Additions:
- Physics Alloy: used to make other stuff. Craft it by combining a phantom membrane, an amethyst shard, and a bottle of enchanting
- Infused Block of Iron: makes a new ship with an iron block. Craft it by combining a physics alloy and an iron block
- Rotor
- When right clicked with an infused iron block, creates a connected ship with a joint
- Applies torque (clockwise is positive) based on the formula: (<power from the + side> - <power from the - side>) * <config "rotorBaseTorque">
- Fuel consumption as a multiple of furnace consumption is given by the formula: ceil(abs(<power from the plus side> - <power from the minus side>) * <config "rotorConsumpFactor">) + 1
- Craft it like a dispenser, but with physics alloy instead of a bow
- Flap: an airfoil that comes in all colors. Aerodynamics are customizable (configs "flapsLift" and "flapsDrag"). Craft it like a wool slab
- Wing: like a flap but it generates lift in the direction of the iron side when moving in any lateral direction. "Angle" can be changed by the config "wingAOA". Craft it by putting an iron ingot above a flap
- Servo
- Like a rotor, but it always tries to maintain an angle with the connected ship
- Requested angle is based on formula: <redstone power> * 22.5 degrees
- Applies torque based on the formula: <config "servoBaseTorque"> * ((<requested angle> - <current angle> + pi * 5) % (pi * 2) - pi - <config "servoVelFactor"> * <ship spin velocity>)
- Fuel consumption is given by the formula: ceil(abs(<applied torque>) / <config "rotorBaseTorque"> * <config "rotorConsumpFactor">) + 1
- Craft it by surrounding a rotor with 8 redstone comparators
- If your ship is shaking, add more mass
- Redstone Linker
- To use it, place one down, then link another by holding it in your hand and right clicking it on the first one
- Once linked, the power that goes in the back (arrow points towards the front) of one will come out the front of the other
- Craft it like a repeater, but with an echo shard instead of redstone dust
Config (create config/simplevs.properties):

- flapsDrag (default 30.0)
- rotorTorqueFactor (default 30000.0)
- wingAOA (default 0.17453)
- rotorsConsumpFactor (default 6)
- servoTorqueFactor (default 5000)
- servoVelFactor (default 0.5)
Build instructions:
