Simply Swords: Cataclysm adds weapons for materials added by L Ender's Cataclysm: Ignitium, Cursium, Witherite, Ancient Metal and Black Steel!
Ignitium Ability: Blazing Brand
On hit, 75% chance to apply Ignis' Blazing Brand effect on enemies to the target for 6 seconds. Consecutive hits can increase the effect's amplifier, to a maximum of 4 (V). Blazing Brand reduces the target's Armor and Armor Toughness by 20%, multiplied by the effect's amplifier. Attackers wielding Ignitium weapons also get a little health back via Ignis' lifesteal ability. Health returned depends on attack speed, the Blazing Brand effect's amplifier, and lifestealMultiplier in the config.
This ability mimics Ignis' armor shredding and lifesteal abilties.
Cursium Ability: Accursed Rage
On hit, 50% chance to apply the Accursed Rage effect to the user for 5.5 seconds. Consecutive hits can increase the effect's amplifier, to a maximum of 4 (V). Attackers with the effect deal 1.0 additional damage multiplied by the effect's amplifier when wielding Cursium weapons. With an amplifier of 5, players can do up to 5.0 more damage by default!
This ability mimics Maledictus' rage meter.
Witherite Ability: Mecha Smite
On hit, 100% chance to inflict Wither II for 5 seconds, and set them on fire for 5 seconds. If the user is below 50% of their max health, they are given Regeneration II for 5 seconds.
Witherite Ability: Mecha Pulse
Oh hit, 75% chance to apply the Pulse Charge effect to the user for 7 seconds. Consecutive hits can increase the effect's amplifier, to a maximum of 9 (X). A shockwave is released upon reaching the effect's maximum amplifier, completely stunning the target for 10 seconds and dealing 4.0 additional damage. The Pulse Charge effect will then be removed, and the user will be given the Pulse Cooldown effect for 40 seconds, during which they will be unable to accumulate Pulse Charge.
Ancient Metal and Black Steel weapons have no extra abilities. Ignitium, Cursium and Witherite weapons are all fireproof and unbreakable, and their abilities have custom sounds and particles.
Ancient Metal, Black Steel and Witherite weapons are crafted like normal. Ignitium and Cursium weapons must be upgraded from Netherite using their respective ingots and upgrade templates in a smithing table.
This mod also contains a few miniscule texture tweaks to netherite weapons, and a fix for the Greathammer item template model (the front of the hammer faced the player when held, now the back does instead)
If something is not to your liking, there is a VERY extensive server config for this mod. Almost everything is configurable, including everything in italics above! If I missed something you want configurable, please let me know in the comments!
A few things cannot be configured, primarily weapon durability and enchantability. In this case I recommend using another mod or a KubeJS script that allows you to change Tier stats on startup. If you want to remove recipes or item items in recipe viewers, you'll need to create a datapack or use something like KubeJS.

PORTS: It is unlikely I will be porting this to 1.19.2, so don't count on it. Same for other versions.
