MenuKit: Containers 2.0.0 is built on MenuKit 2.0 and breaks the old API.
You create a slot once and interact with it through the same window MenuKit uses for vanilla slots.
- Created slots are panel elements. They are real slots, synced with the server and saved, and they can sit on the player inventory, on placed containers, or on another mod's menus.
- Created slots behave like vanilla ones in creative and survival. On death they drop, stay with keepInventory, or vanish with Curse of Vanishing, and they work with grave mods. Curse of Binding and Mending are opt-in.
- A slot panel registered once appears on every container screen, including creative and other mods' menus, without setup per screen.
- Per-slot state can be shared or private. Slots on placed containers resolve double chests, can be read without a menu open, and answer capability queries.
- Each slot's state is stored on its natural owner (a player, block, entity or item) and can be inspected with /data get.
Requires MenuKit 2.0.0. Breaking: the old graft and slot APIs do not compile against 2.0.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
