Snappy Tappy
Quick Read
in vanilla if you were to hold A and then press D it would just stop your movement. with the mod it makes you go in the direction the D key is (WASD) so you're never stopped
Yes other mods exist that do seemingly the same thing, but this will stay updated, is a lot more simple, and heavily tested.
This is not allowed on VTL (Marlows Tierlist)
Last-input priority.
WASD-only - for fairness reasons so that it can be allowed on servers. With it only being WASD it can be recreated within vanilla very easily by just releasing the key instead of holding it down.
This does not work exactly like snappy tappy or snaptap ect, it's built from the ground up to be fair while still bringing this useful feature to minecraft so everyone can use it instead of only people with certain keyboards.
Mod Menu + YACL settings, config persists at config/snappy_tappy.json.
Client-side, Fabric 1.21.x, loader 0.16+.
Here's a video that showcases it perfectly, But with this mod it doesn't matter what keyboard you use and its for minecraft!
(Go to 4:46 for Snappy Tappy) explanation ends at 5:40

More in depth
Snappy Tappy replaces vanilla’s “both keys cancel” behavior with clean last-press-wins logic, so pressing D while holding A immediately moves you right until you release, then snaps back to A. Horizontal (A/D) and vertical (W/S) pairs resolve by press time—no, makes movement feel instant and responsive, in vanilla if you were to hold A and then press d it would just stop your movement. But this can be recreated within vanilla very easily by just letting go of the orignal key, so only having one pressed at a time.
It includes a keybind to enable/disable the mod as well as the option in settings mod menu.
Everything is configurable in Mod Menu via a clean YACL screen: enable/disable, WASD-only
