Just like the main mod, this mod is also in beta(mainly due to the lack of the Sonic 2 Special Stage decor). So just like before, everything you see now is not guaranteed to be in the final version of the mod. Once again, feedback and criticism is greatly appreciated!

This was meant to be released on Sonic's(and Eggman's) 33rd birthday, but better late than never! Before you start with the mod, I recommend downloading JEI as you will need recipes from the main mod to progress here.

To be able to progress within the mod, you will need to beat special stages. There are 14 special stages in total, with 7 of them being blue spheres and the other 7 being the half pipe(or at the time of writing, the flat pipe). In order to get into a special stage, you will need to have 50 rings in your ring counter(Go to the Ring Setting Gui page). After you have at least 50 rings in the counter, craft an empty goal post and walk through it. After the goal post stops spinning, a Big Ring will spawn next to it, just like in Sonic the Hedgehog 1. After jumping into the big ring, you will be transported to a special dimension. An item will be added to your inventory, with the texture symbolizing what you will get after beating the stage. If you have something in your main hand upon going into a big ring, it will be replaced with a "stage starter". A stage starter is an item that spawns in the special stage to make it playable. If for whatever reason you drop the starter, there is an anti-softlock measure where every 15 seconds you aren't actively in a stage, you will get a stage starter. You can reclaim the item replaced after the special stage with the command "/retrieveitem" There are two types of special stages. There are Blue Sphere and Half Pipe special stages.

The Blue Spheres Special Stages are the first set of stages you will have to encounter. The goal here is pretty simple, get all the blue spheres. When you walk into a blue sphere, it will add to your blue sphere counter but it will also turn that blue sphere into a red sphere. If you touch a red sphere, you instantly fail the special stage. The movement works almost identical to the original blue spheres, where you move automatically about every 30 seconds, the movement speeds up. The easiest way to complete any blue sphere formation is if it is in a square formation. You ideally want to turn the outer blue spheres into red spheres. (not inside the square) If the outside of a square is red and the inside is blue, that whole formation will turn into rings. Rings in this case will not add to your main ring count but your perfect ring count. To get a perfect in each special stage, you have to clear the square-like formations of blue spheres and turn them into rings. Then afterwards, find the formations that can't turn into rings to complete the stage. Upon completing the stage, you will receive a chaos emerald. Each chaos emerald has their own unique ability. And in classical fashion, having all 7 chaos emeralds will unlock the ability to use Super Form.

After getting all 7 chaos emeralds, entering a big ring will bring you to the half pipe dimension. The stage starter system is similar to the blue spheres stage starter, but in this case you have to go toward the entrance manually. To start this stage variant, you have to go toward the semi square entrance and right click on the bumper. You will start automatically moving forward once you do this. You can also slow down or speed yourself up(sprinting) to make certain maneuvers if necessary. There are 3 sections in each stage and you have to collect a certain amount of rings before the end of each section. If you don't, you will fail the stage. When you complete a half pipe stage, you won't get a super emerald but instead you will get a piece of chaos essence. Chaos Essence doesn't do anything on its own but it can be used to upgrade the chaos emerald powers(Super Emerald Powers) as well as making the physical form of the Super Emeralds.

To be able to Unlock Super Emerald Abilities and Hyper Form, you will need a Hyper Active Emerald Block. To craft one, you need a slated instable ingot, a gold block, a iron block, 2 crying obsidian, a emerald block, a lapis block, a diamond block, and a slated resistium ingot.
Along side with a Hyper Active Emerald Block, you will need a newly added ore to continue
Embedded Emerald Ore is an overworld ore that spawns from the Y level 0 to 64. You need an iron pickaxe at minimum to mine this ore. Breaking this ore with Silk Touch will drop 1 Shattered Emerald Remnant. Shattered Emerald Remnants are required for a considerable amount of fusing recipes related to the Super Emeralds. To make certain recipes, you need to right click a Hyper Active Emerald Block with certain items. Fusion recipes are as follows:
2 Shattered Emerald Remnants in your main hand make a Powerless Super Emerald
Lapis Block in off-hand with Powerless Super Emerald in inventory(Must have Blue Chaos Essence) will allow you to use the Super Emerald variant of Avatar
Redstone Block in off-hand with Powerless Super Emerald in inventory(Must have Red Chaos Essence) will allow you to use the Super Emerald variant of Bullet
Crying Obsidian or Regular Obsidian in off-hand with Powerless Super Emerald in inventory(Must have Purple Chaos Essence) will allow you to use the Super Emerald variant of Vision
Diamond Block in off-hand with Powerless Super Emerald in inventory(Must have Light Blue Chaos Essence) will allow you to use the Super Emerald variant of Water
Emerald Block in off-hand with Powerless Super Emerald in inventory(Must have Green Chaos Essence) will allow you to use the Super Emerald variant of Ivy
Gold Block in off-hand with Powerless Super Emerald in inventory(Must have Orange Chaos Essence) will allow you to use the Super Emerald variant of Slow
Iron Block in off-hand with Powerless Super Emerald in inventory(Must have White Chaos Essence) will allow you to use the Super Emerald variant of Extra
7 Powerless Super Emeralds in main-hand will make a Master Emerald
You can reverse fuse certain recipes as well, in case you either want to redo the Master Emerald Powering Ritual or you made a mistake. Reversing Fusion recipes are as follows:
Activated Master Emerald in off-hand will make a Normal Master Emerald
A Normal Master Emerald in off-hand will make 7 Powerless Super Emeralds
Any Powered Super Emerald in physical form in off-hand will make 1 Powerless Super Emerald
Powerless Super Emerald in off-hand will make 2 Shattered Emerald Remnants.

Each emerald has their own ability, based off of Sonic Superstars. Each abiliy also has a Super Emerald variant but you can choose which variant you want to use if you have both. Default ability keybind is "J"
Avatar(Blue Chaos Emerald/ Blue Super Emerald): Press the ability button to spawn in a clone.(Spammable) It will spawn in with your armor and whatever sword you are holding. If you aren’t holding anything, it will default to a Diamond or Netherite sword depending on the type of emerald. If the Super Emerald variant is active, then the clone will also have strength 1 and speed 2. These clones have a very low amount of health so they’re easy to kill. Cooldown: 40 seconds
Bullet(Red Chaos Emerald/Red Super Emerald): Press the ability button mid air to slowly descend with fire particles around you. While you are descending, press the ability button again to shoot in the direction you are facing.(you can also go up and down) Anything nearby will take 5 damage(10 if super emerald) and be set on fire for 5 seconds(8 seconds if super emerald) Cooldown: 45 seconds
Vision(Pink Chaos Emerald/Purple Super Emerald): You can have this emerald selected to see if it is worth triggering the ability. You will see a message above your hotbar that will say if it's nearby. The message will say either “Would be a good time to use Vision” or if you are using the super emerald, it will list exact coordinates. You can also look for abnormalities in the terrain such as a random square in the ground. When you reveal a structure with vision, there will be a chest on top with loot that usually contains things such as iron, gold, and sometimes even diamonds. There is a nether variant that contains things such as things you would use to make a portal(if you get stuck), crying obsidian, ghast tears, and blaze rods. If you use the super emerald to reveal the structure, the chest will be a double chest with more loot. Cooldown: 40 seconds
Water(Cyan Chaos Emerald/Light Blue Super Emerald) Pressing the ability button will make you a speedster underwater. You will also get conduit power and can’t drown. If you have the super emerald, you go faster and can press the ability button to push anything chasing you downward. Cooldown: 55 seconds
Ivy(Green Chaos Emerald/ Green Super Emerald)
Pressing the ability button places a vine going upward. While going upward you can continue to press the button to place vines upward. If you are going up these specific vines, you can crouch and press the button to make a platform. If you are walking on a vine block, you can place more vine blocks to keep walking forward. If you crouch on a solid vine block, you will place vines upward. These blocks break automatically after 20 seconds. If you have the super emerald, you will place more blocks at once and crops nearby will have their growth heavily accelerated. Cooldown: 45 seconds
Slow(Yellow Chaos Emerald/ Orange Super Emerald) Pressing the ability button will slow down anything around to a halt. This also includes projectiles to get out of a sticky situation. This also adds mining fatigue. If the super emerald is selected, this also adds weakness to the targets. Cooldown: 60 seconds
Extra(White Chaos Emerald/ White Super Emerald)
Pressing this ability will spawn in a white sword that you are able to ride. After a few seconds of spawning in, the sword will launch in a random direction if you aren’t riding it. If you are riding it, the sword will move in the direction you are facing. Anything nearby will take damage while the sword is alive. You can spam the ability as long as there aren’t other swords around. Unlocking this super emerald will allow for the option to choose a pickaxe. You can set this in the new Emerald Gui. You can also set if you want blocks to drop or not when broken with the pickaxe. While the pickaxe option is active, you can press the button to launch a pickaxe that will break most minecraft stone variants so it will be a huge help while mining in the overworld and nether. Cooldown: 60 seconds
Super/Hyper
You need to have Ring Damage on for this to work(Your ring counter has to be yellow, not red). Pressing the transform button(default: N) will make you invincible, fast, and strong as long as you have rings. If you run out of rings while Super or Hyper, the form ends. Character Ability attacks are also buffed when you have Super or Hyper on(abilites such as the insta shield). Super Form in terms of potion effects give Resistance 5(you are invincible...in most cases), Strength 8, and Speed 14. You will have particles around you constantly so people will always know if you have Super Form active. Hyper Form in terms of potion effects give Resistance 5, Strength 13, Speed 18, Conduit Power, and Haste 4. As you can see, notable differences between Super and Hyper. If you want de-transform, just press the same key you used to transform in the first place. Also, if you turn off Ring Damage while in Super/Hyper, you will be kicked out of the form.
Pressing the actual ability button only when you have Hyper active when you have more than 5 rings will boost you in the direction you are looking at. Cooldown: 4 seconds.

When you unlock all the Super Emerald abilities initally, you won't be able to go Hyper. You need to power a Master Emerald first (similar to how the Master Emerald gets powered when all the Super Emeralds are physically present.) To do this, you need to form a ritual. You can make a "Super Emerald Ritual Blueprint" item with a shattered emerald remnant and a piece of glass. Then while holding the blueprint, right click in a open area with plenty of space. A mockup version of the ritual will be placed down. You can right click on the transparent blocks and it will tell you what block to place in its location(The Crying Obsidian can be replaced with Normal Obsidian by the way). To place Emeralds on their respective beds, just right click the Super Emerald or Master Emerald Bed with the respective Emerald in your main hand. You'll need a total of 7 Super Emerald Beds and 1 Master Emerald Beds. To craft a Super Emerald, you'll need 4 crying obsidian, 4 diamonds, and 1 gold ingot. To craft a Master Emerald Bed, you'll need 4 crying obsidian, 1 diamond block, and 4 shattered emerald remnants. When all the blocks are properly placed, right click on the Hyper Active Emerald Block with all the Chaos Emeralds and Super Emeralds located on in your Emerald Gui and watch the ritual unfold. Upon the ritual being completed, you will be able to change into Hyper Form and all super emerald powers will last 5 seconds longer. If you want to take any emeralds out of their beds, just right click the bed with the emerald on it and you will get the emerald back.
Each Super Emerald transmits redstone power(8) and enchanting Power(Acts as 7 bookshelves) A normal Master Emerald transmits redstone power(15) and enchanting power(Acts as 9 bookshelves) An Activated Master Emerald transmits the same redstone power as a normal Master Emerald but has a total enchanting power of 15(15 bookshelves).

Going back to the perfect mechanic in the Blue Sphere Special Stages, when you finish all the blue spheres stages, you can use the command "/perfectclaim" to get any perfect bonus rings you haven't claimed. You need 7 perfect bonus rings in your main hand for them to do anything. If you didn't get all 7 perfect bonus rings via the stages and you already have the emeralds, you can craft these with 1 gold block, 1 emerald block, 3 gold ingots, and 4 diamonds. When you have all the chaos emeralds and 7 perfect bonus rings, if you right click a furnace, smoker, or a blast furnace, it will change into a Super Furnace. If you do the same with a beacon , it will change into a Super Beacon.
A Super Furnace can smelt 3 slots of items at once and can smelt them at the press of a button without any fuel. Each item smelt will award 3 xp points. You won't be able to smelt anything if you don't have all the chao emeralds though.
A Super Beacon is a super powered beacon that follows a similar formula as the normal beacon although with starking differences.
A Super Beacon is like a normal beacon, in the way where you have to place blocks under the beacon to work. However unlike a normal beacon, a Super Beacon only needs one block of a unique material. The order where you place blocks is top to bottom. This means that directly under the Super Beacon, you place a iron block, then a gold block under, then a diamond block, then a emerald block, then a resistium block, then a instable block, and then finally a netherite block if you want to go for the full extent. Instead of using an ingot or gem to keep the beacon running, you will need rings to keep the Super Beacon going. Conversion rates for the rings are as follows:
1 ring = 1 ring (obviously). 1 gold ingot = 5 rings. 1 ring monitor = 10 rings. 1 gold block = 45 rings .
Each ring in the Super Beacon will last 15 seconds. If the beacon runs out of rings, it won't revert back to a normal beacon automatically. Pressing the "Drain Super" button will turn the Super Beacon back into a normal beacon and the rings that were in the beacon will be added to your ring counter. Breaking the Super Beacon will also add rings to your ring counter if it has any.

It's all fun and games until someone on a server with Super/Hyper form goes rampant on everyone. That's why there are weapons and tools to combat this. Resistium tools can become Super Infused Resistium Tools with a Super Core using a Smithing Table. Instable Tools can become Hyper Infused Resistium Tools with a Hyper Core. A Super Core is crafted with 1 gold block, 3 diamond blocks, 3 resistium ingots, 1 resistium block, and 1 ring monitor. A Hyper Core is crafted with 4 powerless super emeralds, 2 instable blocks, 1 super core, and 2 diamond blocks.
Whenever a player initally goes Super or Hyper, they get 4 Super Hit points. Each time a person with a Super form is hit with a Super Infused Tool, they lose 1 Super Hp and can't lose any hp for another 7 seconds(otherwise it wouldn't be fair for both sides). If a player with Hyper form is hit with a Super Infused Tool, the player doesn't lose Super Hp but they get stunned for 3.5 seconds and can't get stunned for 10 seconds after that.
On the contrary, if a player with Super form is hit with a Hyper Infused Tool, they lose 1 Super Hp AND get stunned for 3.25 seconds. They can't lose hp and stunned after the stun duration for 7.75 seconds. If a player with Hyper form is hit with a Hyper Infused Tool, they lose 1 Super Hp and can't lose more hp for another 10 seconds.
