New Versions Should Be expected Soon
I have taken some time to rewrite the entire dungeon system, as well as the API. I have also done a lot of planning that should help me progress much faster from now on. The seal system will be rewritten, as well as brooms. There will be fixes for many, many bugs.
There is a Trello board available to check on progress!
Soulbound is a complex magic mod. It is currently in alpha. Feel free to report any issues in the GitHub!
Soulbound is a mod where players have to kill mobs near a soul catalyst to obtain soul, then extract that soul via a soul solidifier, then solidify it using a solidifier. With this soul, a player can make wands and imbue seals upon them.
Seals come in three types: Passive, which are tools, Offensive, which are weapons, and Amplifying, which change the attributes of other seals. Passive and offensive seals can be activated to give their effects to the player, such as attack damage, attack speed, aoe, etc. Amplifying seals however, can change some of these attributes.
Sacks are a special type of wand that allows only amplifying seals. It is a backpack, where its rows, columns, and stack size can be upgraded with seals.
There are several tiers of Wands and sacks: Ancient Oak, Corrupted, Blood Soul, Warped Soul, Shattered, and Purpur. These each have different amount of each type of slot.
Dungeons are another part of soulbound, only added when the "Hammerspace" mod is present. They are accessed via dungeon keystones, found in the overworld. When unlocked with a key, these keystones bring you to a dimension in which you have to beat the dungeon. There exist two types of dungeons: stable and unstable. Stable dungeons only have one level and the player can exit and re enter at any time. Unstable dungeons however, cannot be exited until all of the bosses on all of the levels are beaten. In stable dungeons, once beaten, the player can break and place blocks. Unstable dungeons contain much better loot and harder mobs. Once beaten, the player will be teleported out and CANNOT enter again.
