soulworksmod

Turn mob grinding into habitat engineering.
soulworksmod replaces conventional spawner rooms with programmable Soul Crucibles. Record a creature, analyze its needs, build a suitable habitat, and fabricate new mobs using Biomass and stored experience. The system supports registered living entities—including compatible modded mobs—without copying an individual creature's identity or equipment.
Features
- Record reusable creature identities with the Soul Lens and Soul Imprints.
- Analyze Biomass costs and habitat requirements before building.
- Fabricate creatures with the multiblock Soul Crucible.
- Design specialized habitats for passive, hostile, aquatic, and unusual mobs.
- Store experience as a real
c:experiencefluid. - Automatically collect XP orbs with the Experience Condenser.
- Supply Crucibles using Bottles of Memory or piped Liquid Experience.
- Connect several Crucibles to one shared Crucible Interface.
- Automate items, fluids, redstone control, and comparator monitoring.
- Improve efficiency by maintaining a healthy living colony.
- Overclock production with Resonance Coils at the cost of Instability.
- Encounter dangerous Echo variants and contain them with Containment Wards.
- Extend mob classifications, recipes, and blacklists through datapacks.
The basic loop
- Obtain Soul Shards and craft a Soul Lens.
- Use the Lens and a Blank Imprint to record a living creature.
- Inspect the imprint with an Imprint Analyzer.
- Build a Soul Crucible surrounded by Habitat Frames.
- Add a Soul Vent or Crucible Interface where needed.
- Supply matching Biomass and experience.
- Create the required habitat and apply redstone power.
Keeping fabricated mobs alive builds Adaptation, reducing later Biomass costs and spawn delays. Faster production through Resonance Coils raises Instability, which can turn new creatures into stronger Echoes. This creates a choice between a stable breeding habitat and a faster, more dangerous grinder.
Automation and compatibility
The Experience Condenser and Soul Crucible expose Fabric fluid storage on every side. Liquid Experience uses the conventional c:experience fluid tag for compatibility with supporting pipes, tanks, and containers.
A Crucible Interface can replace a Habitat Frame and link every adjacent Crucible whose habitat ring contains it. Hoppers and compatible item pipes access their combined inventories, fluid pipes distribute experience between their tanks, redstone controls all linked Crucibles, and comparators report the highest linked Instability.
Unknown modded creatures receive fallback costs and matter classifications based on their spawn group. Modpacks can customize entity and item tags for more precise integration.
Requirements
