This mod adds items that allow you to undo permanent transformations as well as collect them for later reuse! You can also share and trade them with other players! Everything is done through simple crafting and eating of items.

Undo permanent form and store it:

Craft an Empty Gilded Echo Shard

All crafting is done on a Smithing Table. The recipes are:

• Morphscale Core + Echo Shard + Gold Block
• Morphscale Core + Cracked Echo Shard + Gold Ingot

You will receive an Empty Gilded Echo Shard that can be eaten.

Naturally, you'll need to acquire at least one Echo Shard to get started, but the alternative recipe provides a way to reuse the same Gilded Echo Shard again and again without needing to hunt down another Echo Shard. However, owning several Gilded Echo Shards will allow you to store many forms at the same time.

Eat the Empty Gilded Echo Shard

You must be in a permanent form.

You will transform back into a human and receive a Gilded Echo Shard that contains the permanent form you just had and can be kept for later. Any player can use it, so it can be given away, traded, or even stolen if you don't protect it.

Regain the stored form:

Eat a Gilded Echo Shard that stores a form

You must be a human.

You will transform into the permanent form stored in the Shard and receive a Cracked Gilded Echo Shard. You can use it to make a new Empty Gilded Echo Shard without needing to sacrifice another Echo Shard.

The lore

I tried to conform to Shape Shifter Curse's lore as best as I could based on what I know about how it works. In the original mod, gold is used to counteract the curses' effects (through Golden Apples), while the Echo Shard is used to reach the final permanent forms.

In this mod, Echo Shards and gold are combined to make both undoing and regaining permanent forms possible. The Echo Shard is used to extract and trap the curses for later use, while the gold is the catalyst that gives the Echo Shard this power.

The Morphscale Core is just there to make reusing the same Gilded Echo Shards reasonably expensive and to better tie this mod to the original mod.
