Starve No More is a vanilla+ mod with the goal of improving the survival experience of finding, killing and / or ranching passive mobs.
THIS MOD MAY IMPACT PERFORMANCE ON CERTAIN CONFIGURATIONS.
With the mod installed, the user will have:
1). BOOSTED MOB SPAWNING ON CHUNK GENERATION
- Every time a chunk generates, the game spawns some mobs inhabiting it. This mods boosts the chance of spawning mobs so that more mobs spawn naturally all over the world (not only passive!).
- The chance for each group of mobs to spawn on a chunk generation is roughly 30%.
2). BOOSTED SPAWNING FOR CERTAIN PASSIVE MOBS
- The mod boosts the spawning of certain passive mobs, those being:
- Sheep
- Cows
- Chickens
- Pigs
- These mobs have a minimum group spawn size of 2 and a maximum of 5 when spawning.
- These mobs' spawning is boosted in the following biomes:
- Old Growth Birch Forest
- Birch Forest
- Dark Forest
- Flower Forest
- Windswept Forest
- Windswept Hills
- Windswept Gravelly Hills
- Forest
- Plains
- Badlands
- Eroded Badlands
- Sunflower Plains

- Savanna
- Sparse Jungle
- Taiga
- Snowy Taiga
- Old Growth Spruce Taiga
- Old Growth Pine Taiga
- Savanna Plateau
- Jungle
- Bamboo Jungle
3). RAISED MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF CERTAIN GROUPS OF MOBS
- The mod raises the maximum capacity of certain groups of mobs, those being:
- CREATURES (45, was 10)
- AXOLOTLS (10, was 5)
- WATER CREATURES (20, was 5)
- WATER AMBIENTS (35, was 20)
4). CHANCE OF SPAWNING BABY MOB FROM BONEMEALING GRASS BLOCKS
- The mod adds the random chance of a baby passive mob being spawned whenever bonemealing grass blocks.
- The baby passive mobs that are eligible to spawn are chosen from the Entity Type Tag "CAN_SPAWN_FROM_BONEMEAL".
- The mobs in the Entity Type Tag "CAN_SPAWN_FROM_BONEMEAL" are:
- Pigs
- Sheep
- Chickens
- Cows
- Rabbits
- The chance of a baby mob to spawn from bonemealing grass blocks is roughly 15%.
5). CHANCE OF MOBS TO GENERATE MULTIPLE OFFSPRINGS AFTER BREEDING
- The mod adds a random chance of mobs that are able to breed to generate multiple offsprings after breeding during the first 4 minutes (4800 ticks) of the day.
- The time in which this can happen is referred to as "dawn".
- The maximum of offsprings a mob that is able to breed can generate is 3.
- The chance for each extra offspring is roughly 20%.
6). BABY MOBS GROWING UP FASTER WHEN STANDING ON HAY BALES
- The mod makes it so while a baby mob is standing on a hay bale, it grows up faster.
- Baby mobs standing on hay bales grow up roughly 30% faster.
7). MOBS BECOMING PLUMP
- The mod adds "plump" mobs, which are naturally occuring whenever a mob doesn't enter love mode for 2 in-game days.
- The mobs which can become "plump" are those in the Entity Type Tag "CAN_PLUMP" and that have entered love mode before and / or were born from player input (those with the NBT StarveNoMorePlayerLineage).
- The mobs included in the Entity Type Tag "CAN_PLUMP" are:
- Cows
- Goats
- Mooshrooms
- Sheep
- Pigs
- Chickens
- Rabbits
- Hoglins
- "Plump" mobs are visually larger than normal mobs, have lower pitch in their sounds, can't enter love mode and drop roughly 1.5X the normal items.
- The visual scale multiplier of "plump" mobs is 1.25x.
8). GOATS DROPPING MUTTON AND STRINGS
- The mod adds drops to goats on death, those being:
- 1-2 mutton
- 0-1 strings
9). CUSTOM CONFIG COMMAND
- The mod adds a new command, /starvenomore.
- The command allows to configure everything in the mod to fit every play-style or experience.
- No restart is required for the command to work.
- The command requires permission level 2 to be used.
- Each command allows to leave it blank, in that case it will tell its current value.
- Each command allows to also write "reset", in that case it will reset to its default value.
- The JSON file can be found at .minecraft>saves>WORLD>starvenomore.json. (WORLD represents the name of the world)
