Streamer Mode
Changes your name & others client-side, in order to prevent sniping or accidental leaks (such as alternative accounts) while streaming / recording.
Where did the mod name come from?
It came from Discord automatically enabling Streamer Mode whenever I opened OBS.
"Streamer Mode is enabled. Usernames have been truncated"
Features
- Replaces your username & others.
- Prevents accidental leaks (such as alts) while recording or streaming
- Very lightweight and easy to use.
- Supports replacing own username & other players usernames
Commands
They are client-side and do not require server-side support.
- /streamer toggle
- /streamer toggle hideothers
- /streamer change self <username>
- /streamer change others <username>
Note: Other players can not see your spoofed username / what username you set theirs, as this is client-side. Players will still see your real username on their screen.
