Compound V
Become a Supe. Master your abilities. Survive what Vought buried underground.
Compound V is a large-scale Fabric superhero and horror mod inspired by The Boys universe.
Inject yourself with experimental V formulas, develop permanent or temporary superpowers, unlock complete skill trees, explore abandoned Vought research facilities, fight other powered players, and survive the consequences of unstable human experimentation.
This is not only a collection of potion effects. Every major power has its own mechanics, resources, weaknesses, progression, visual effects, abilities, and combat style.
Compound V, Temp V and Pure V
The mod contains multiple experimental V formulas with different risks and outcomes.
Compound V
Compound V grants a permanent power from the standard power pool.
Each strain has its own abilities, progression tree, passive effects, counters, and unique gameplay systems.
Temp V
Temp V grants temporary powers, but repeated use becomes increasingly dangerous.
The more doses you take, the greater the risk of developing a permanent mutation. Your dose history is saved, meaning the consequences cannot simply be avoided by restarting the server.
Pure V
Pure V grants access to extremely rare legendary strains or upgrades eligible existing powers into stronger Overclocked forms.
Unstable V
Unstable V replaces your current permanent power through an unpredictable genetic reroll.
It may grant a classic power, a mutation, or—in extremely rare cases—a legendary strain.
A Large Power Roster
Compound V includes dozens of complete powers and power variants.

Power Progression and Skill Trees
Every supported power has its own progression system.
Using abilities, dealing power-based damage, defeating enemies, and performing power-specific actions grants experience.
Leveling up awards shards that can be spent in branching skill trees.
Skill trees can unlock:
- New active abilities
- Passive upgrades
- Larger resource reserves
- Reduced cooldowns
- Improved mobility
- New finishers
- Stronger ultimate abilities
- Power-specific mastery effects

Unique Power Mechanics
Every strain plays differently.
Heat Vision
Control multiple intensity levels, manage overheating, ignite targets, destroy blocks, heat furnaces, and clash directly with other Heat Vision users.
When two compatible beams collide, both players enter a dynamic push-and-pull beam struggle affected by stamina and power strength.
Speedster
Build speed gradually, run across water, ram enemies, break through obstacles, create tunnels, dodge attacks, and unlock devastating Overclocked movement abilities.
Telekinesis
Lift entities, throw targets toward your crosshair, control multiple enemies, reflect projectiles, disarm opponents, and unlock powerful finishers.
Telepath
Lock onto nearby minds, control living targets, command groups, defend yourself with a Neural Shield, detect nearby consciousness, and issue collective orders.
Chronos
Manipulate time with Time Stop, Rewind, Future Sight, Perfect Dodge, Temporal Rush, and time-of-day control.
Weaver
Generate living silk, fire webs across walls, grapple through the environment, restrain targets, climb vertical surfaces, cling beneath ceilings, and use Spider-Sense to detect nearby danger.
Conduit
Control smoke through a complete karma-based progression system.
Heroic and infamous choices unlock different abilities, executions, recovery options, visual styles, and progression paths.
Massive Vought Research Facilities
Explore enormous underground Vought laboratories generated through a modular jigsaw system.
Facilities are built from interconnected corridors, junctions, research rooms, containment sectors, surgical areas, flooded wings, nests, and abandoned test chambers.
Different facilities can generate with different layouts and room combinations, making each expedition feel less predictable.
Possible facility areas include:
- Long industrial corridors
- Crossroads and branching junctions
- Containment chambers
- Surgical laboratories
- Abandoned archives
- Experimental testing wings
- Flooded sectors
- Biological nests
- Greenhouse research rooms
- Acoustic testing areas
- Impact testing chambers
The deeper you explore, the more unstable and hostile the facility becomes.
The Thing
The Thing is a horror-focused experimental creature with custom hunting behavior.
It can:
- Stalk players through darkness
- Investigate sounds
- Ambush isolated targets
- Move through vents
- Avoid or destroy light sources
- Break through obstacles
- Grab and carry victims
- Return captured prey to its nest
- Remember frequently used hiding locations
Encounters also use an Exposure system that introduces heartbeats, hallucinations, environmental messages, darkness effects, and increasing psychological pressure.
Light and sunlight can help reduce Exposure.
V-Touched Creatures
Some vanilla creatures can appear as genetically altered V-Touched variants.
Each variant has its own behavior, visual identity, abilities, and combat characteristics.
Examples include altered goats, spiders, creepers, and husks affected by unstable V experimentation.
Multiplayer Combat
Compound V is designed with multiplayer gameplay in mind.
Power activation, damage, progression, cooldowns, and major visual effects are handled through server-authoritative systems.
Players can:
- Fight in large-scale Supe battles
- Clash Heat Vision beams
- Suppress or counter specific powers
- Control other players through Telepathy
- Carry and throw opponents
- Form karma-based alliances
- Explore Vought facilities together
- Build containment strategies against stronger Supes
Many powers have direct counters, environmental weaknesses, resource limits, and cooldowns. Strong abilities are powerful, but they are not intended to be unbeatable.
Power Suppression and Weaknesses
Different powers have different weaknesses.
Examples include:
- Water weakening electricity or silk
- Fire damaging Weaver silk
- Wool blocking vibration-based powers
- Radiation interfering with V abilities
- Zinc blocking X-ray vision
- Darkness weakening Verdant
- The Nether starving plant-based powers
- Overheating limiting Heat Vision
- Resource depletion preventing ability spam
Learning another player’s weakness can be just as important as improving your own strength.

Compound V contains a large collection of custom content, including:
- Power particles
- Custom beam effects
- Electricity effects
- Finishers
- Ability sounds
- Power-specific HUDs
- Skill tree icons
- Transformation visuals
- Animated combat states
- Remote multiplayer effects
