- Completed Wraith Summoning system: When a player kills an entity within an 8-block radius of an activated Dragon Soul Lantern block, if the player has an empty Dragon Crystal Soul Stone in their inventory, the soul of the slain entity will be captured and bound to the Soul Stone as a Wraith. Afterwards, the player can hold an item with summoning capability (Dragon Soul Lantern, Dragon Sword, or The Last Sword), press the Wraith Summoning GUI key(default: Z), insert the Soul Stone, and right-click to summon or recall the Wraith. A player can summon multiple Wraiths simultaneously.
- Currently, to obtain the The-Last-End Sword Wraith, players need to travel to the Sealed Spire structure in the End, use a Dragon Egg to activate the Lost Wraith and defeat it, which will drop the exclusive Soul Stone for the The-Last-End Sword Wraith.
- Minor bug fixes and performance improvements
1.Changed configuration file type back to normal instead of server-side, added instant configuration synchronization and effect functionality.
2.Removed the feature where entities attacked by Absolute Destruction Damage could not use setHealth() to regenerate.
3.Optimized Powerful Mining Mode logic - now you can left-click to cancel block selection after selection.
4.Optimized Absolute Destruction Damage logic to make it more like vanilla damage sources.
In this update, we have completed:
1.Fixed all known bugs reported in the previous 1.0.9-beta version! This was an extremely complex engineering task, but the final results are satisfactory enough for me.
2.Optimized all item tooltips to more intuitively display functionality and detailed values across different modes.
3.Most importantly, we separated all potentially crash-causing Unsafe code! Now you can choose whether to enable Unsafe code and Strong Defense code based on your usage needs. When enabled, they will greatly enhance the mod's power, but at the cost of compatibility and stability (though in current testing, only Alex's Caves showed complete incompatibility issues, which I've tried my best to resolve). If you're not aiming for maximum power, you can completely disable these 2 configuration options. Additionally, I optimized the entire configuration system, making it a server-exclusive single config file to control all configurable aspects, but now you need to manually close the save once and re-enter to immediately apply all configuration changes.
4.Balance changes: Weakened the Justified Defence shield code strength, changing it from mixin-driven back to event-driven. Weakened The-Last-End Sword Wraith's numerical growth curve - it's no longer tied to The Last Sword's extra attack damage values, but has its own linear growth value control.
5.Added a simple shader to The Last Sword, replacing the previous dynamic textures. Additionally, we added a mining range preview to Powerful Mining Mode! No more worrying about accidentally damaging your important blocks.
6.Many other small changes, but I'd rather you explore them yourself. In summary, version 1.0.9 official release is stable enough to be a long-term usable stable version.

- A significant amount of code refactoring has been completed. Now, all of this mod’s logic is managed by two manager classes—AttackEffectManager and DefenseManager—and much of the previous event-driven logic has been converted to mixin-driven logic. In the current version we’re monitoring for potential bugs; if any issue is confirmed to originate from The Last Sword code, please notify me immediately.
- Commands have been added for the two updated managers. If you encounter excessively large save-file growth after extended play, you can clear the saved data for these managers.
- The AI of The-Last-End Sword Wraith has been optimized so that it should no longer become “stuck” as in previous versions, and its model and animations have been improved.
- We’ve enhanced The Last End Death’s remove ability and the healing-prohibition effect of the Absolute Destruction Damage Source. However, I’ve grown tired of the code arms race and will be shifting focus toward improving robustness. In fact, this will be the final strength update for The Last Sword Mod (the upcoming 1.0.9 release may include some extra content, but the overall balance will remain unchanged).
Now please do not attempt to withstand any attacks from “OP Mod” while wearing the Dragon Crystal Armor in 1.0.9-beta! I haven’t yet fully completed the post-refactor defensive capabilities, and this may cause players to enter a “pseudo-death” state. If this occurs, please exit the game and reload to resolve it.
- The Justified Defence attribute has been implemented. Although several bugs from the beta have been fixed, further monitoring is required—if you encounter an issue where a powerful entity remove you and you can’t continue playing, simply rejoin the game to resolve it in most cases.
- Partial functionality of the Ultra Test Sword is now in place. Do not quit the game while in Defense Mode! This mode is not yet fully complete.
- The Test Entity’s original attack logic has been re-enabled.
- You can disable the death messages from The Last End Death.

Introduces a new shield mechanic that can save you from lethal damage by absorbing one fatal hit. You can reposition its on-screen HUD element using the default Alt key.
- Fixed inventory refresh bug
Resolved an issue in previous versions where The Last Sword item would repeatedly refresh in the player’s inventory.
The Last End Sword Wraith Entity is 50% complete, and the bug where The Last Sword's damage becomes "26" has been fixed.
-Fix the dragon egg drop bug.
- Bug Fixes: Fixed the issue where recipe levels were not displayed in JEI. Fixed the problem of Dragon Crystal Forge not retaining enchantments. Resolved the issue where shields added by the End Sword Spirit recall or the "Crystal Protection" of Dragon Crystal Armor would overwrite existing damage shields. Optimized the display of additional armor attributes. Important: Fixed a crash issue that occurred when Ctrl was pressed before entering the game.
- Feature Additions: Added night vision configuration for the Dragon Crystal Helmet. Completed some logic and animations for the End Sword Spirit.
New Functions: -The recipe system has been completely overhauled, transitioning from Mcreator's hardcoded process to a JSON-driven approach. Now, you can modify the recipes for each level through the dragon_crystal_smithing_X.json files located in data/the_last_sword/recipes. -The third mode of The Last Sword has been replaced with a summon entity mode, enabling the functionality of entity summoning. The initial version of The-Last-End Sword Wraith has been completed, though it is still in the WIP stage. -The second mode of The Last Sword now supports area mining. -Dragon Crystal Armor has been enhanced with the ability to upgrade and gain additional attributes. Bug Fix: -Resolved an issue where projectiles could mistakenly harm the shooter, their teammates, and pets.
- Fixed a bug where entities killed by the "Powerful Area Attack Mode" wouldn't drop loot.
- Increased the difficulty of multiple Ender Dragon challenges, which can, of course, be turned off in the configuration file.
- Updated all expected new version textures
