Bug fix update
Literally that
- Iron wave is no longer impossible yey
- Better drops from all the tiers
- Waves now properly close on defeat
- Fixed 2 softlock states, both corresponding to non gateway teleport
- Gold loot bag name
- Soul talisman SHOULD WORK AT LAST
Gold Tier
The gold Tier has been finally added to TPC. This update contains not only a new island but a whole ton of improvements for the mod.
First, the island itself, currently the biggest island consist of several areas and 3 big pitholes that you must be careful to not fall into!
Alongside it, a new main mechanic has been added to the mod
Corn!
Corn is a new item that is found, rotten inside the Gold Tier island, as you clear more Gold Tier waves you will slowly get more and more Corn kernels which can be farmed into fully grow corns.
The corn stalks can be farmed any time even in-between non building phases.
The corns are consumed upon leaving the challenge, increasing the quality of rewards you get!
Additionally, corns are used on the now new Wild Merchant NPC
Wild Merchant
The wild merchant is a new entity that spawns during the resting phase, at first glance it allows to skip the resting phase with just a button.
But during the Gold tier it brings a new ton of trades that you can constantly use with corn, allowing to buy special gear and a new armor set that is an upgraded version of the shadow armor.
Customization!!
The Wild merchant items can be customized with 2 options in the config files, in the main config you can turn the automatic shop item set to false, and then you will be able to edit the files inside the Pumpkin Shop folder that contains the whole item trades.
New Mobs!!
Now what everyone has been waiting for, new mobs!!!
The Pumpbat
Small flying pumpkins that although slow, have a deadly flamethrower that will melt all the entities within its range!
The Scarecrow
Support enemies, they will slowly get close to you before starting to heal its teammates and get them stronger!!!
The executioner
A new big mob that will deal a deadly axe cut and explodes! If you do not get your head cutted you will surely be blasted off the island, be careful!
The Skreaker
The new boss, a powerful Skeleton mage that has high fire damage spell, creating rings of fire around him, on top of you, and on top of your soul!!
Others
Several changes has been made through the mod, mobs now spawn way more, the resting phase can be skipped with the help of the Wild merchant, the rewards have been greatly buffed through all the tiers.
Any suggestion and comment on the mob will be appreciated to help improve its current state!!
Overhaul
The pumpkin Challenge got an overhaul, finally completed the Iron Tier island with new mobs Updated the config files, and altered behaviour of bosses
Mobs
Added the Masking, a little gremlin that will spawn on iron tier after wave 8 Added the Pumpkin Knight, a mob that spawns on iron tier after wave 12
Altered all mob sprites adding a glow variant, Mobs are no longer affected by glowing during a wave
ALtered mob spawners positions, they should no longer spawn stuck in blocks
Soul charger has got a new attack Pumpkin Reaper boss renamed to Pumpkin Harvester and his teleport has been fixed
New boss! The pumpkin Rider, will spawn on iron tier with a shared chance
Configurations
The whole configurations has been improved no longer needing to remove old files to update them, all mobs now share a single base and the waves share their singular configs.
New optional mode, instead of requiring kills, now requires you to deal damage to the mobs!
Leaderboards
Now when playing the highest wave and the team that conquerer it will be stored separately per tier, with a common command /PumpkinChallenge champion tier (1,2) you can consult this at any moment, in case of a tie the extra team will be added in a separate instance, if surpassing a previous leader board it will be completely overriden
