Building upon the original Third Life mod, a new dynamic feature introduces a thrilling way to gain lives: by hunting down and eliminating a specific target assigned to you!
To begin, players can initiate the hunt using the /starthunt command. Each participant will be assigned a unique target to track and eliminate, with key rules ensuring fairness:
- No two players will share the same target.
- A target will never be assigned to hunt their own hunter.
Players are notified of their target via an in-game message, setting the stage for an intense and strategic challenge.
The Stakes:
- Successfully killing your assigned target rewards +1 life (up to the maximum of six).
- If your target dies from non-player causes (e.g., fall damage), you do not gain a life.
- Failing to eliminate your target before the /endhunt command is issued results in a -1 life penalty, and hunters are notified of their failure.
The system requires a minimum of three players for target assignments to function properly.
This bounty hunt system adds a new layer of strategy, suspense, and risk, encouraging calculated moves and daring attacks. Players must balance their survival instincts with bold maneuvers to outlast their opponents and claim victory!
