Timbershriek
Chop a tree, and he's already coming.
Timbershriek adds a single, relentless predator to Minecraft — and the only thing that summons him is the sound of your own axe. Fell a log, day or night, and he may already be striding out of the treeline toward you. He shrieks, he hunts, and he does not stop until you're dead or gone.
What he does
- Summoned by your axe — every log you chop is a gamble. There's a chance he spawns nearby and comes straight for you. It's the only way he enters the world.
- Faster than a sprint — on open ground you do not outrun him.
- Nowhere is safe — he swims after you across water and climbs walls spider-style. Rivers and cliffs only slow him.
- Wood won't save you — he shrugs off every wooden tool. Bring stone or better.
- The eyes in the dark — blank white eyes that glow through the night, above a mouthful of long fangs, and a shriek that is decidedly not a zombie.
- Then he's gone — break far enough from his reach and he melts back into the forest in a wisp of smoke.
- Killable — but he doesn't go quietly. Put him down and he drops an oak log.
