Boooo!Keep your Totem of Undying locked in your off-hand — no more fumbling it out mid-fight.
Overview Totem Lock is a lightweight, client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.11. It stops you from accidentally pulling a Totem of Undying out of your off-hand with the keyboard, while leaving your mouse fully free for deliberate inventory management. Built with PvP in mind (crystal/anchor fights), where one stray key press can cost you your totem.
What it does When a Totem of Undying is in your off-hand, the mod cancels every keyboard way of taking it out:
🔁 Swap-hands key in combat (default F) 🎒 Swap-hands key while the inventory is open 🔢 Hotbar keys (1–9) used on the off-hand slot 🗑️ Drop key (default Q) used on the off-hand slot Everything else stays normal:
🖱️ Your mouse is untouched — left/right-click, shift-click, and drag still work, so you can take the totem out manually whenever you actually want to. ➕ Inserting a totem into the off-hand still works — the lock only applies to removing a totem that's already there. Works with any keybinds It doesn't matter which keys you've bound. The mod intercepts the underlying action (swap-offhand, hotbar-swap, drop), not a specific physical key — so whether your swap-hands is on F, G, or a side mouse button, your totem stays put. No configuration needed.
Requirements Minecraft 1.21.11 Fabric Loader 0.19+ Java 21 Fabric API is not required — the mod uses only vanilla classes via Mixin. Notes Client-side only, so it works even on servers you don't control (it protects you). Death protection is unaffected — the totem still saves you as normal; only manual keyboard removal is blocked.
