TQH Possession

Not every animal is behaving normally.

TQH Possession is a psychological horror mod that turns ordinary passive animals into unpredictable threats. A peaceful cow, sheep, pig, or horse may suddenly stop, lock its attention onto you, begin moving unnaturally, or flee as though something inside it has realized you are watching.

Possessed animals can perform rare violent charges, spread the disturbance to nearby animals, and remember the player involved after the possession ends. Following a fleeing animal, attacking it, staying too close, or attempting to trap it may provoke a much more dangerous response.

Part of a Larger Horror Experience

TQH Possession is being developed as a core required mod for an upcoming custom horror modpack.

The full modpack is not released yet, but this mod can still be installed and played on its own. In the completed pack, possession will be one part of a larger slow-burn horror experience built around atmosphere, uncertainty, exploration, and the feeling that the world is gradually becoming less safe.

This is not intended to be constant jumpscare horror. The goal is to create moments that make you question what you just saw—and teach you that sometimes, following the strange animal into the woods is a terrible idea.

Current Status

The mod is currently in alpha.

The main possession, fleeing, memory, and retaliation systems are functional. Future updates are planned to add custom audio cues, textures, visual effects, additional polish, and stronger horror presentation.
