VanillaWeatherPlus adds weather events that are vanilla-friendly to Minecraft, designed to blend naturally with the original gameplay without breaking the game's balance.
-
WARNING: I don't recommend installing mods that add new biomes, since the weather mechanics might break or not work properly. This doesn't affect the vanilla custom terrain generation mods.
-
Weather:
-
Tornadoes🌪️: appear in plains biomes and move across the map, grabbing entities, making them fly and spin around him.
-
Hurricanes🌀: larger-scale weather events that affect wider areas, appearing in ocean biomes.
-
Green Rain💧🌱: a strange slime-colored rain that makes crops grow very fast, appears with a very low probability when any rain begins.
-
Sandstorms🌵: a huge cloud of sand moving across the desert, carrying strong winds and tons of sand that make it impossible to see beyond, appears in the deserts and badlands.
-
Blizzard❄️: a facelift for the default Minecraft snowstorm, now it has fog that makes it hard to see and if you expose yourself too much you'll freeze to death, of course unless you're fully dressed👀🐄.
-
No permanent damage🍂: leaves and blocks affected by these phenomena regenerate over time, so there's no need to worry about a tornado destroying your forest forever.
