VeganDelight 2.0.0 - Beta
- Fixed a bunch of bugs, including:
- Create compatibility recipes being broken
- fluids interacting weirdly with tanks
- our recipes not being compatible with salts from other mods
- Added a tooltip to some VeganDelight items, telling you what you can do with them
- Added a "Vegan" label that appears when you craft an item using a substitute (e.g. burger from tofu patty)
- Changed applesauce to only work as an egg replacement in baking recipes, e.g. for cakes, cookies and similar items
- Adjusted some recipes - soy milk no longer requires a water bucket
VeganDelight now requires the RecipeModification library to work.
Important Note: When upgrading an existing world, there might be some issues. It is recommended to update to this release when playing a new world.

Convenience Update
- Botany Pots added VeganDelight compatibility so make sure to check it out
- Soy-milk and applesauce now work with Tough as Nails mod
- Glass bottles look better on create belts
- VD leather substitute can now be used in any recipe (even modded ones)

We got some stunning changes
- Villager Trades: You can trade in soybeans at the farmer villager. This is so nice for all you excessive farmers.
- In game loot: You can now find Vegan Delight items in loot chests. Soybeans in villages, salt in shipwrecks and much more. Have fun exploring!
- Composter: Finally soybeans are compostable!
We got some new stuff for you guys!
Inc sacs:
We created a recipe for crafting inc sacs. By cooking coal and dried kelp you get ink without cruelty.
Feathers:
By cutting strings on the cutting board you can craft feathers now.
Honey:
This one is the best. By cooking three cactus you receive a honey bottle. This is based on agave being used in real life.
Other:
All these recipes are compatible with create. Check out JEI for all recipes.
This is one of our best updates! Huge thanks to Jay Miller who made this possible.
Applesauce:
- As a lot of you wanted applesauce as a second egg substitute we finally added it
- You can use it just like silken tofu or eggs
- Cook it in FD's pot with apple, sugar and water
Fluids:
- Applesauce and soy milk are now available as fluids
- You can store them in every tank and transport in any fluid pipe
- Use Create mod to craft both of them
- More Create recipes will follow in version 1.2
Others:
- We added cooked tofu and cooked smoked tofu
- Tofu blocks take 50% longer for smoking and cooking than slices
- Minor changes with tags
- Silken tofu returns a bowl when consumed
- Soy milk bottle stacks to 16

- We added compatability with Serene Seasons
- Soybeans are a hot weather crop so they will grow faster in summer if you use Serene Seasons
- We added Silken Tofu
- By cooking soymilk with water and salt you get Silken Tofu
- It can be used like Minecraft's eggs
