Vital Reap
Vital Reap is a Fabric challenge mod where your maximum health becomes the main resource.
Kill mobs to harvest their health and increase your own max HP. Take damage, and your max HP shrinks by the amount of health you actually lost. As time passes, your max HP also decays faster through escalating phases, turning survival into a race to keep harvesting hearts before the world catches up.

Features
- Start with only 1 max HP on first join.
- Gain max HP equal to a killed mob's max health.
- Heal by the same amount when you gain max HP from a mob kill.
- Lose max HP equal to the damage you actually take.
- Time-based phases gradually increase max HP decay pressure.
- Defeating the Ender Dragon stops time-based max HP decay for affected players.

Important gameplay notes
- This is intended as a chaotic challenge mod.
- PvP kills do not grant max HP.
- AttributeFix is strongly recommended. Without it, very high max HP values may hit Minecraft's built-in max health or attribute limits during long runs.
- Progression state is currently kept in memory, so phase state may reset when the server restarts.
- The mod is server-side gameplay logic. Install it on the server for multiplayer. Installing it on the client is useful for singleplayer.
Requirements
- Fabric Loader
- Fabric API
- AttributeFix is recommended, but not required. Without AttributeFix, Minecraft's built-in max health or attribute limits may cap very high max HP values.
