THANK YOU
- This is possibly the last major update to this mod. Thanks for playing and I hope you enjoy.
-
REWORKED TORNADO DESTRUCTION LOGIC
- Tornadoes will now take into account indoor/outdoor distinctions when ripping blocks. Example: Fortifying a house with strong blocks on the outside will protect it's inside from being damaged
- Exposure to the outdoors will influence how vulnerable blocks are to being grabbed and destroyed by tornadoes
-
GALE STORM CHANGES
- Added config option to disable gales entirely
- Gale storms will no longer affect trapdoors, due to many player builds depending on these aesthetically
-
WATERSPOUT CHANGES
- Using adjustable canopies over crops will prevent waterspouts from flooding them
-
SIREN BLOCK CHANGES
- The siren is now crafted with gold ingots instead of goat horns. This should make them more accessible for players.
- Added config option to enable the old tornado siren sound effect from Weather1.
- Reduced siren sound radius
-
PHANTOM TORNADO CHANGES
- Added config option to completely remove phantom tornadoes
- Increased the number of times players can skip thunderstorms via sleeping before phantom tornadoes spawn
-
MISC CHANGES
- Tornadoes vary more in duration
- Tornadoes spawn further away from players on average
- Reduced lightning strike frequency for players and mobs during severe storms
- Improved tornado terrain movement; tornadoes should no longer bob up and down constantly to match terrain height perfectly
- Tornadoes now have a small chance to revive themselves after entering their dissipation phase
- Improved CPU performance for Stage 2 and Stage 3 tornado destruction
- Fixed some minor Drowned pathfinding bugs
- Added config option for adjusting tornado detector range (be sure to re-generate the config file!)
- Initial Modrinth Release!
