A new YAKO version, straight to your house! (yes you right there!)
This one's a big one! Very many changes, so much time getting things to work, but I think its worth it, so enjoy!
The main features in this update:
- A new statistics tab that shows various statistics regarding your keystroke presses (Tracks statistics for each profile)
- Overhauled the settings, can change the alpha individually & can change text color
- Pressed text can now also be changed & the text preview is also now correctly displayed
- Updated the saving and loading, so that old config now actually convert to new versions
- Disabling the Keystrokes now works properly and also disabled the sound
- Fixed a bug where the input switcher was available on the second page
- Added command suggestion for /set /remove & /rename
There is still a bunch of bigger features I want to implement, so please stay tuned for that, but for now, please enjoy this release!
A new day, a new version, welcome to YAKO v.1.3.0!
The mod is now on Modrinth & CurseForge and with that, I want the mod to be as accessible as possible. That being said, the /yako remove
command was broken and caused crashes so this update had to come asap.
The main features in this update:
- 3 Different default profiles that showcase the mod's capabilities!
- A welcome screen that explains the mod to the user (will only show up once)
- Customizable text colors!
- a new coat for the edit screen to accommodate the new and future settings (2 pages)
- removed owo-lib
- various bug fixes
that being said, the next update is also expected to come rather sooner, because I still havent implemented UI scaling, which the mod needs asap.
The third release of YAKM! 🎉 🎈
First things first! I've changed the name of the project to "Yet Another Keystrokes Overlay", also YAKO for short.
Now to the new features. The biggest addition is Keystroke Sounds, which are sounds that you can activate, that give audio feedback when pressing keystrokes (except for mouse clicks), in form of 3 different profiles.
There are also plenty of new commands, which are access through /yako
. For the entire command list, read the readme or do /yako help <command>
.
Some smaller new features are the full preview of a selected keystroke with all its features, being able to choose your own text for a keystroke and switching to a different default lettering (text on a keystroke).
The second release of YAKM! 🎉
I'm very happy with the progress of this project!
New features of this release are resizing of keystrokes, profiles, being able to set the text of keystroke and transparency (even though it is not optimal with roundness).
I also adjusted the fabric loader dependency, so hopefully that shouldnt be as strict as it was before.
