Yossiikun Pet Health Boost
A Minecraft mod that dramatically increases the maximum health of tamed animals.
This mod started with a simple idea: I wanted my pets to have more health, so I made a mod for it.
Features
- Increases the maximum health of tamed animals by 1,000.
- Applies a permanent health attribute modifier.
- Designed for NeoForge.
Supported Versions
| Minecraft Version | Status | Description |
|---|---|---|

| 1.21.1 | Supported | Regular maintenance and bug fixes. |
| 26.1.2 | Development | Development version. Bugs and breaking changes may occur. |
Support status describes the project's maintenance policy, not a guarantee of update frequency or a fixed support period.
Always download the build matching your Minecraft and NeoForge versions.
Project Philosophy
Made Because I Wanted It
This mod exists because I wanted it to exist.
I am both the demand and the supply.
I had a problem I wanted to solve, so I built the solution myself. The primary purpose of this project is to meet my own needs, not to chase popularity, downloads, or market demand.
If other people find it useful, that's great. If not, it still does what I made it to do.
I make the mods I want to use.
Practicality Over Popularity
This is a personal project. Development priorities are based on what I need, what I use, and what I consider worth improving.
That means:
- Critical bugs matter more than unnecessary features.
- Stability matters more than adding features just to make the project bigger.
- Support for older versions may continue when it remains useful to me.
- Community feedback is welcome, but every suggestion is not a promise of implementation.
Using ChatGPT in Development
ChatGPT is part of my development workflow.
I use AI assistance to help with tasks such as:
- Exploring implementation approaches.
- Understanding Minecraft and NeoForge APIs.
- Drafting and reviewing code.
- Investigating compiler errors and debugging problems.
- Preparing documentation, release notes, and commit messages.
- Considering compatibility across Minecraft versions.
AI-generated code is not automatically considered correct. Changes still need to be reviewed, built, and tested where possible.
AI is a development tool, not a substitute for verification. The project owner remains responsible for deciding what to implement and what to release.
Bug Reports
Bug reports are welcome, especially for critical issues.
When reporting a bug, please include:
- Minecraft version.
- NeoForge version.
- Mod version.
- Steps to reproduce the issue.
- Relevant logs or crash reports.
Critical bug fixes are prioritized, especially for the LTS version.
Releases
Each release targets a specific Minecraft version. Check the release title and compatibility information before installing.
Development builds may be less stable than supported releases.
