-Better than stone but worse than iron.

-Oxidizes(decreases efficiency).

-Fastest tools in the game.

-Can break randomly.

obsidian

-to craft use lava bucket and iron tools, then jump in water with lava tools in your inventory.

-more durable than iron tools.

totems

-amethyst totem heals player if he has less than 4 hp. Cant save from lethal damage.

-obsidian totem gives player fire resistanse if he is on fire.

-every new food gives potion effect.

-candy has different flawors, wich has different potion effects.

-explodes instantly.

-can melt and cristallise.

obsidian furnace

-saves heat and uses it to smelt items instantly.

-do something in 5 block radius(heals, strikes with lighting).

-target players if placed on amethyst block(for damage runes).

-Put hot stuff to smelt ores or other things.
