Hello everybody!
You want to play minecraft with graphics as pleasing as in the trailers, you've tried Lowresbones version and liked it, but wished to have more choices with different approaches? Here I am, this modpack aims at playing with the Mojang's marketing visuals, it's similar in a lot of ways to Lowresbone Pack but the visuals are drasticaly differents when put side by side.
It includes all discarded mob votes, new animations, particules, combat mechanics, crafting recipes, mob spawning animations and more! All of this without feeling one single second that the game isn't vanilla.
DISTANT HORIZONS COMPATIBLE + SODIUM + IRIS SHADERS
YES! I spent a lot of hours setting up the shader preset in order to match the trailers visuals AND distant horizons buggy port with IRIS shaders that doesnt fully support DH for now, but it works, and it's incredible.
I made this modpack for myslef but found it so good I had to share it.
This is an ALPHA version.
MORE Performance! & Installation
PERFORMANCE EDITION
Don't worry I got you.
OPTION A:
Download a version of my modpack that mentions P at the end like so: '-.-.-.P', it contains a shader preset that will get you 40% more performance than a non-P version.
OPTION B:
Modify a non-P version yourself,
- Video settings/Shader packs...
- Select Complementary
- Shader pack settings.../Performance settings
Here change those settings to the value:
- Detail quality : MEDIUM
- Shadow distance : 4
- Block reflection quality : OFF
If you're still struggling with fps I still have two more options for you to try:
- Real-time shadows : OFF
And the second option would be to use the second shader included in this modpack named "VanillaAA", It's a "no-shader" that indroduces TAA to smooth your game.
Installation
-
If texture packs are not loaded: Activate all the texture packs in the correct order
-
Go to Shaders options: Complementary/shaderpack settings > check if under the 'preset' tab it is set as 'custom' in orange/red. if yes then my custom preset is active. If you have anything else, use the top right Import preset option and find 5E1Ys CR Preset.txt that is already in your /shaderpacks folder, import and apply and you're good to go.

Enjoy!
