Nihimulur
NIhimulur 2.0 will be released soon.
This will include a lot more Vanilla-Revamped style mods, and connect a lot of mods together, like far more challenging but rewarding Eldritch Mobs, a lot more items allowed for tool leveling, and generally a more play-it-your-way gameplay overhaul.
What is Nihimulur 2.0?
First and foremost, this is a personal use modpack.
It's designed with a "Vanilla Revamped" mindset. While I do enjoy vanilla-plus modpacks, they often end up dragging the same gameplay systems across a way more expanded game, where you do the same thing at the beginning with wooden tools as you do with several armor bars.
My goal is to provide a non-linear progression system, so instead of upgrading the same set of tools and armor, you often have to swap around to get to the next step, but will never have to grind from the beginning, as the foundation for everything comes up with you.
This modpack heavily discourages conventional farms, especially mob farms, which have been made downright impossible to feasibly create. Instead, I prefer games where you keep actively playing, but the rewards increase alongside the aforementioned foundation.
So if you're tired of strip-mining after you got to full diamond, you might want to take on some Elite Mobs for the same rewards. Grinding XP to combine your two Efficiency IV pickaxes taking too long? Taking on the Wither will allow you to get a Efficiency VI pickaxe instead, by using it's Nether Star to level up your tools to a whole new level. These systems are heavily interconnected across all the mods, so you never have to start from scratch with a mod after having reached the end-game ages ago.
All in all, Vanilla Revamped means to change the ever-same systems of Vanilla Minecraft into you actively playing the game and being able to use every way to play to it's fullest potential.
Nihimulur 1.X
While I always enjoyed mashing mods together, with Nihimulur I decided to try connecting them. While there isn't that much connection between mods in 1.1, I was working on a 1.2 where Eldritch Mobs drop materials for all mods, magic minerals from all mods allow tool leveling, etc. as described above. However, with how much will change, I will simply release it as version 2.0.
