The world is alive with conflict—factions clash, monsters roam, and powerful forces wait to be claimed. Magic, legendary artifacts, and untold resources lie within reach… but only for those daring enough to seize them. Rise as a creator, master machines, command magic, and shape the world itself. Alone or alongside others, will you outsmart rival factions, outbuild rivals, and rise above all who stand in your way, or get caught up in the chaos?
I made this modpack as a large expansion to minecraft. It isn't made too stylized, but instead is made to expand on the game a lot in many areas. Magic, exploration, combat, and technology have much more content in them. Many ways to cast many different spells are added, more structures, adding more things to explore, an expanded arsenal of many weapons, and many contraptions that are made possible. Minecraft's vanilla style is too restrictive, so I decided to just not care about that and make a good modpack, while still sort of following a style.
The story is of a world filled with power and possibility, in an age of chaos where many factions rise to claim its treasures. A mysterious force brings your existence here, and gives you gifts of power that let you shape the world and wield its power. Factions ranging from the undead, to piglins, to pillagers don't like competition, and you will have to rise above them... or die trying, maybe even more than once.
Be aware that there is likely to be bugs. Here are some things i know about the modpack's bugs:
- Importantly, if it crashes upon world loading/generating, try allocating more memory. I give it 10 gigabytes of RAM, and it works well, even with shaders. My friend can join me using 4 gigabytes without crashing upon loading.
- Valkyrien Skies is buggy and may cause many issues, which can include world corruption.
- Mod Stellar View is incompatible with Complementary Shaders, so if you plan to use shaders you might want to disable it before playing so the sky doesn't look weird.
- Mod Starlight is incompatible with certain things. This was discovered when the game crashed whenever it rendered an assembled Create mod windmill, but there may be more problems. (Mod Starlight was removed in version 1.2.1 of the modpack because of this)
- Some music discs just don't work, like ones from BetterEnd, and might just disappear when you right click them on a jukebox. However, jukebox upgrades in backpacks will work like normal.
