THE SEQUEL UPDATE
- Added the Particle Rain mod for better looking weather
- Removed Debugify as it removes useful Minecraft bugs, but it may return in the future
- Removed the More Chat History mod since it's not very useful
- Added the Inventory Blur mod for a subtle blur when opening the inventory
- Replaced the Simple Music Control mod with the Music Delay Reducer mod
- Removed Configured since it seems to be a server side mod
- Removed Fancy Block Particles Renewed due to performance issues on lower end devices
- Removed the Sounds mod since the UI sounds were kinda annoying
- Added Controlling, which adds a search bar to the key binds menu
- Added the Highlight mod, which simply fixes issues with the block highlighting
- Added the Disable Custom Worlds Advice mod, which gets rid of the warning when opening a world with experiments enabled
- Added Status Effect Bars, which adds a progress bar to status effects
- Added the Backported Clouds resource pack, which adds the new clouds from the latest snapshot into 1.21.4
- Added FancyMenu to overhaul the game's menus, including the pause menu, options menu, pause menu, and a few more, with new tooltips and transitions
- Changed Miniature Shader's settings to look more vanilla, for like the billionth time now
- Replaced Complimentary Reimagined shaders with the Visual Vibrance shader, which is an awesome recreation of Bedrock Edition's new Vibrant Visuals
THE PARTICLE PATCH
- Added Particle Tweaks for even better looking vanilla particles, and tweaked to be compatible with Particular
- Added Particle Core, which makes it so particles that can't be seen aren't rendered, which can heavily improve performance with all the particle mods there are
- Tweaked the Miniature Shader slightly
THE EYE CANDY UPDATE
- Tweaked the VanillaTweaks pack ever-so-slightly
- Configured Exordium so the F3 screen doesn't appear as laggy
- Changed Miniature Shader's settings to make water more reflective and make the shadows pixel perfect
- Added ThreatenGL to make Minecraft run using OpenGL 4.6 instead of 3.2, which can sometimes boost performance for lower-end devices
- Added the Eating Animations resource pack for, well, eating animations
- Added Shaded Font for an overall nicer default font
- Added Enchantment Level Language Patch to make enchantments above supported levels display properly instead of "enchantment.level.XX"
THE EASE OF ACCESS UPDATE
- Removed Explosive Enhancement as it didn't fit with Fire Rekindled's explosion particles
- Tweaked the Miniature shader to make the lighting more blue during the night
- Added Exordium to make the GUI run at a lower framerate to allow for more performance in gameplay
- Added ModernFix for a few more performance upgrades, such as dynamic resource loading
- Added More Chat History to, well... add more chat history
- Updated the VanillaTweaks pack to slightly change a few things
- Added Configured for more options for worlds
- Added Better Advancements for improved UI/UX of the advancement screen, and holding shift while hovering over an advancement shows more info
- Added Better Statistics screen for a much cleaner statistics screen
- Added Dynamic Crosshair and tweaked it to be more subtle
- Added AmbientSounds so you aren't always sitting in silence
THE MASSIVE MINIATURE UPDATE
- Added a mod simply titled "Sounds" to add small sounds to the UI, but I've tweaked it so it isn't super annoying
- Replaced BVS with Miniature, a much better shader with tons more functionality and better performance in a way, I've configured it to look as vanilla as possible too
- Disabled dynamic handheld lighting for Sodium Dynamic Lights as Miniature provides better dynamic handheld lighting
- Removed Icons Advertisement Removal as it wasn't actually necessary lol
- Added Concurrent Chunk Management Engine (C2M) to improve world generation even further alongside Noisium
- Not sure if I mentioned this in the previous version when it was added, but added Polytone for better Optifine resource pack support
- Added Legendary Tooltips for much better looking tooltips, and configured it to be more subtle
- Tweaked BetterF3 to include GPU usage in the F3 menu
- Removed unecessary config files from the pack to hopefully lower the file size a bit
- I might've configured a few other settings or mods, but I forgot what I changed lmao
On an unrelated note, I've been playing around with Distant Horizons, and it MIGHT make a comeback if I manage to make it performant enough. AND, if all the mods in the pack are eventually updated to 1.21.5, I might be able to update the pack to 1.21.5.
THE LEGACY AND LIGHT UPDATE
- Removed Genesis shader as it wasn't compatible with Wakes and Particular
- Updated the VanillaTweaks pack with some slight new changes
- Removed the Basically Vanilla Logo resource pack since its pretty useless
- Added Faithful 32x as an optional resource pack for nostalgic purposes
- Added Programmer Art Continuation Project as an optional pack for people who like the old look of Minecraft
- Tweaked the Wakes mod to make wakes look better
- Changed Complimentary Reimagined's settings to enable integrated PBR and colored lighting (this may cause performance issues on lower end devices)
- Removed Distant Horizons as it caused performance issues
THE VIBRANT VISUAL UPDATE
- Replaced BDS shader with BVS for a better look
- Tweaked Complimentary Reimagined to look more like Minecraft's new Vibrant Visuals
- Disabled Motschen's Better Leaves by default due to performance issues on lower end devices
- Added Angel's Weather as a default resource pack for much better weather sounds and visuals
- Added Better Clouds and tweaked them to look slightly more vanilla like
- Tweaked Wakes to look more consistent across different shaders
- Removed Simple Voice Chat
- Removed No Chat Reports due to issues with chatting in multiplayer
THE SUPER SHINE UPDATE
- (hopefully) Fixed issue with modpack being called "Basically Vanilla (dev)" lmao
- Added Lithium because it wasn't added before for some reason
- Disabled Distant Horizions by default to increase performance slightly
- Added Genesis shaders for people who want to re-create the alpha Minecraft look
