Q: Is this modpack just a nostalgia trip, or can new players enjoy it too?

A: Absolutely! While Beta Renewed is designed to evoke nostalgia for veteran players, it’s also a fantastic way for new players to experience Minecraft’s roots. The simplicity and charm of the beta era make it a unique and refreshing way to play.

Q: Does this modpack include any new content?

A: Nope. Beta Renewed is purely about recreating the Beta 1.7.3 experience. It removes modern features and restores old ones, so you get an authentic beta experience. No frills, just vibes.

Q: Is there a way to enable OG fast graphics?

A: Go to video settings on whatever version you have. Go to quality and turn graphics to Fast. Then go down to the bottom and turn on clouds Fast. Then turn off smooth lighting down there. And that's it! Done! To get the fancy graphics back, do each step in reverse.

Q: Can I use this modpack with other mods?

A: While Beta Renewed is designed to be a standalone experience, you can experiment with adding other mods. Just keep in mind that modern mods might conflict with the beta-style mechanics. Proceed at your own risk!

Q: Will there be updates for future Minecraft versions?

A: Yes! I plan to keep Beta Renewed updated for future Minecraft releases, so you can continue to enjoy the beta experience for years to come.

Q: Will there be server support?

A: Currently, there’s no official server support. But if this modpack becomes popular, I’ll definitely look into it.

Q: Will there be a Discord server?

A: Same as above—if Beta Renewed gains traction, I’ll consider making a Discord server. For now, it’s just me, my keyboard, and a lot of caffeine. My Discord is nixxback. Don’t ping me too much, pls.

Q: Will there be DLCs for Beta Renewed?

A: Yep! I’m preparing some DLC modpacks for it. How about a perfect mix of beta atmosphere and horror mods? Spooky, right?

Q: Will there be Alpha Renewed or anything else?

How to Install the Modpack
