⚔️ Blad Modpack (WIP)

Guys, I have an idea for the traditional two-week Minecraft server...

Blad is a technical, automation and adventure modpack built around one idea: vanilla mechanics should matter. No skipping the basics — you'll need them to progress. And it's harder to survive, too. No mega storage in the early game, no big-ass weapons after only 2 IRL days.

🚧 Work in Progress

Blad is still in alpha. Some claims (like the game being balanced) may not actually be true. We haven't tested this pack enough. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Reach out to me on GitHub. Expect (not that) frequent updates, game-breaking changes, and mods coming and going. Back up your worlds together with the pack itself, since updates may break them!

Get the compose.yml on the Github repo. Run it with docker compose up.

⚙️ Automation and Progression

Automate key processes and watch your base grow as you advance. Build technical setups with Mekanism and Applied Energistics 2, or grow your resources with the farming-centered Mystical Agriculture.

🗺️ Exploration and RPG

• A richer Overworld, Nether and End, with improved structure generation and new dimensions like The Aether
• Unique artifacts, backpacks and treasures waiting to be discovered
• Classes, spells, relics and skill trees from the RPG Series: become an archer, paladin, rogue or wizard
• Dangerous mobs that make every encounter count

🌦️ Survival That Fights Back

• Thirst and temperature to keep an eye on
• Seasons that change how and when you farm
• Survival mechanics that challenge your skills without turning into a chore

🔨 Rebalanced Crafting

Progression is built around crafting gatekeeping. We have Waystones, but they don't spawn that often, and to craft one you basically need to kill the Ender Dragon first. We have Traveler's Backpacks, but finding a mob wearing one is rare, and crafting one also requires killing the Ender Dragon. In vanilla Minecraft you gain access to portable storage with Shulker Boxes, and the same goes for Bladpack. This is what we mean by vanilla mechanics should matter.

Every tier feels earned, all the way to a rewarding endgame and post-endgame.
