Bountiful Redux is a modpack designed to improve your Minecraft 1.8 experience (The Bountiful Update). It's perfect for anyone who doesn't like the current combat system introduced in 1.9 and wants some new features, backports and QOL improvements for their 1.8 playthrough.

QOL improvements

• The flat second layer of player skins is fully 3D modelled
• Advanced old animations with 1.7 parity
• Improved burning logic (incl. flaming arrows, fixed fire damage bugs etc.)
• Village doors no longer keep chunks loaded (performance improvement)
• Searching for keybinds in the keybinds menu
• Crashes do not close Minecraft
• FPS is reduced when the client window is minimized or not open
• More shortcuts to move items in your inventory, trade windows and crafting
• Item and recipe viewing from within the player inventory
• Mobs retain their skin after becoming pets
• Realms button removed as it often breaks on 1.8 and crashes the game
