I've created this modpack because i felt the vanilla game didn't push you to build enough, the entire pack is designed around extrinsic motivation for building.

NO SLEEPING - Why would you ever build a base if you can skip the night before mobs even spawn? Because of this you will be unable to sleep in the modpack. Beds can still mark your spawnpoint and phantoms were moved to the end to acomodate to this change.

FLUID PHYSICS - The flowing fluids mod makes so you have to transport water from com it' it's sources, encouraging the construction of aqueducts and pipes

PROPER ANIMAL CARE - Due to the Animal Weights mod animals now need proper enclosures, that need to be well lit, have grass and with enough space for all animals inside without it getting cramped

NO F3 - F3 is an unintuitive way to obtain information in the game and it eclipses more interesting solutions, instead there's alternatives for F3 information, like the cheaper lodestone in the image, performance informations are still shown.

PROPER VILLAGER TREATMENT - We all know that in vanilla villagers are treated as livestock, not anymore! Villager Confort Continued makes so villagers require better living conditions, such as minimum light, house size and more, all villages now spawn as abandoned, so anything that happens to your cured villagers is your fault.

NO ROCKET BOOSTING - Elytras are thousands of times better than other transport methods while being the least interesting, because of this you can't boost it with rockets anymore, this shines a light on light on other transports that require infrastructure while giving elytras an unique glinding niche, that can take advantage of proper infrastructure.

AUTOMATION -No better way to encourage building than automation! Autowork is the main tech mod, it uses redstone as it's base. Many other redstone related mods are in the pack.

Building tools - If you're going to give incentive to building atleast add some stuff to help, right? there's many building tools in the pack to help you make farms, railways or bases.

Keep in mind that this modpack is in the alpha stage of development and needs playtesting

Known issues:

  • many recipe book problems, including items being unlocked at the wrong time, not being in the book until you craft it for the first time and all of quark's recipes being unlocked upon entering the world, JEI is in the pack because of this
