Create: Breadcrumbs
This is a large NeoForge 1.21.1 pack built around Create and its addon ecosystem, then filled out with automation, cooking, exploration, and decoration content on top. Rather than just piling on mods, a lot of the work has gone into configuring and balancing them against each other so the different systems do not fight for space, break progression, or crash the game under normal play.
What This Pack Adds
Create, Taken in Every Direction
Create is the backbone of the pack, surrounded by dozens of addons instead of being left on its own. Flight and aeronautics get a dedicated stack of their own (Create Aeronautics, Create Aero Radar, Create: Aeroworks, Create: Avionics, Aileron, Drive By Wire, Create Propulsion: Simulated, plus a set of gauges and display links to actually read your instruments), which is where the pack gets its name. Alongside that sit full rail networks (Create: Steam 'n' Rails, Create: Blocks & Bogies, Create Train Parts, Create: Mind the Gap), naval and underwater builds (Create Aquatic Ambitions, Create Deep Seas), heavy weaponry (Create Big Cannons and Going Ballistic), factory scale logistics (Create: Factory, Create: Factory Controller, Create: Ultimate Factory), and a full economy layer (Create: Numismatics). Dozens of smaller addons fill in fluids, decoration, and everything in between.
Programmable Automation
CC: Tweaked brings in game computers and turtles, backed by a stack of peripheral bridges (CBC Peripheral, Classic Peripherals, Tom's Peripherals, CC:RJ45, and more) so those computers can talk directly to Create contraptions and other machines.
Cooking and Farming
The "Delight" series shows up in force (Farmer's, Ender's, Ocean's, Nether's, Tide's, and several more), joined by Ratatouille, Plenty Plates, and Brewin' and Chewin', so food ends up as an actual progression path instead of an afterthought.
Exploration and World Generation
Caverns & Chasms, Tectonic, Deeper and Darker, Farlands Reborn, and the full YUNG's structure suite (dungeons, mineshafts, strongholds, temples, and more) reshape terrain, caves, and structures so exploring stays worth doing deep into a save.
Building and Detail
Supplementaries, the Macaw's line, Handcrafted, and a long list of smaller detail mods give builders enough pieces to avoid reusing the same ten blocks for every project.
Performance
A pack this size lives or dies on optimization. Sodium, Lithium, ModernFix, Ferrite Core, EntityCulling, and several more sit underneath everything else specifically to keep frame times and chunk loading manageable given how much is actually running at once.
Requirements and Important Info
- Loader: NeoForge 1.21.248, Minecraft 1.21.1
- RAM: 8GB allocated is recommended for normal play, 6GB is the minimum needed just to boot
- AutoModpack is included, so client files stay in sync with the server automatically
- Crash Assistant is included to help make sense of any crash that does happen
Multiplayer and QoL
Simple Voice Chat and Simple Radio cover in game communication, No Chat Reports keeps chat private, and EMI, Mouse Tweaks, Chat Heads, and Curios based accessories from Artifacts and Curiosities round out day to day usability. Exposure and Vista add in world photography and cinematic camera tools for anyone who wants to document their builds.
Background
This pack is a spiritual successor to an earlier project of mine, Codename BSMP, a 250+ mod pack that made clear where large modpacks tend to break down under real use. The scope and the configuration work here are a direct response to those lessons, aimed at covering as many playstyles as possible (technical, exploration, building, and cooking) without any one of them costing the others stability.
This description covers the highlights. The full mod list, including compatibility patches and smaller quality of life additions, is available in the Changelog tab above
